Kayla P. (Kayla S.)

Dustin and I met our freshman year in high school. I was best friends with his older sister so we saw each other a lot, especailly since all three of us were in band and he was her shadow when we were on trips. My junior year of high school I moved with my Family to Sydney, Australia where I lived for a year. When my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer my parents moved the whole family back to take care of her. My second day back in the states my friend called and asked if I wanted to go to a movie, and of course I was excited to see her. After she picked me up she went and picked up Dustin and I hardly recognized him. He'd grown up in that year and looked entirely different that it took a while to recognize who he was. On september 13th, 2007 I (being the impatient person that I am) asked him if he liked me through text messages. I jumped the gun, I know, but it all worked out and we've been together now for 4 years. He is the love of my life and I don't know what I would do without him.
