2 weeks. We discussed dates that would work for both our schedules

I knew our date before we even got engaged. We had an idea in mind for a while, officially decided a couple weeks after getting engaged when we booked our venue.

Probably a week. We booked our venues within the first two weeks.

We started discussing dates about a month after our engagement. We had an approximate idea of when we wanted to get married at that point, so we started looking at venues. We actually set our date 4 months into our engagement, the day we booked our venue.

We got engaged in November and put down a deposit on a venue in March. We had an idea of the date we wanted long before that but it wasn't official until booking the venue.

We had a date, venue and caterer booked before we were officially engaged. We did some things a little backwards.

We wanted a somewhat longer engagement but set a general time (fall 2016) and set the physical date once we picked a venue (about a year after getting engaged)

About a month. We knew if wanted to be married the following year we'd have to book a venue soon. Many venues book out 1-1.5 years out.

About two weeks after, when we contacted venues and needed a date. We had a general idea, a weekend in January, and played around with the numbers, deciding it was very "us" to get married on a Friday the 13th.

About a month. First 2weeks we spent just enjoying being engaged and then it took another 2 weeks to decide on venue and date!

Within an hour of being engaged. It is our anniversary.

About 2 weeks we had talked about June but then ended up going with September about 2 months after that

I knew the date I wanted before we even got engaged. Afterwards I just double checked with him and booked a venue the next week. There aren't a lot of venues available near us so I knew I had to hurry.

We had a month in mind but did not pick a date for about 3 months because I was doing A TON of research on all sorts of venues and vendors in multiple locations for a very very low-budget wedding and we went back and forth between larger 100 person wedding, a 10 person elopement and finally settled on a small 25 person intimate wedding.

Also, I am of the opinion that you don't have a date until you book your venue so keep that in mind. Would you change your date for the perfect spot? Frankly, we changed our date for the perfect photographer and it wasn't even in the month we originally were so convinced it would be in)

2 months. We were ready. Plus we had to jump on planning since we wanted to be married in a year.

Within the 1st week. I wanted a fall wedding, but 1 year was too short and 2 years was too long for FH, so we compromised and found a date around there. Still need to book our venue, cause you don't have a date if you don't have a venue

2 weeks after we got engaged because we got tired of people asking when the date was. We booked the venue two weeks after setting the date.

We waited about a week. Found our venue within the first week of being engaged and so the date just followed.

I knew what date I wanted before we even got engaged. We got engaged on a cruise and within a week afterwards and throwing around ideas together I had my FH on board.
