How long did you wait before setting a wedding date?

Less than a week. We definitely wanted November, it was just a matter of matching up church/venue availability.

A month, that's when I found the venue!

I was engaged on New Year's eve and if it were up to me, i would have booked the next day. However the venue we really wanted only allowed one year at the most for reservation. This venue had it all. When i discovered all dates for May were taken (families were camping last week of April outside venue office) we looked elsewhere. Fortunately we found a similar venue and booked asap so in my opinion, it's never too early to book or at least look into and visit the

venue (s).

Four and a quarter years.

A week after being engaged

We were engaged Christmas Eve, spent the holidays not thinking about plans, and then by NYE we knew we wanted a June wedding. Once we found our venue we chose from the available June dates and that's how we got it.

We decided when we get the venue. Our date is the first available date at the venue of our choice.

About a week after my FH and I got engaged. We discussed what date would be good for us!

We set the date before the engagement lol

I knew before the engagement I wanted a long engagement to save and plan for the big wedding... A few weeks ago I decided fuck all that! I set a date in March for a private DW. I picked it just because cruise/flight prices are cheaper right before spring breaks.

2 weeks lol. We knew what date we wanted so I started looking for venues and contacting them the next day and since we lived out of state at the time we had to wait 2 weeks to visit them. Visited the first venue and loved it so we booked it!

About a month, we discussed either May or June but we didn't pick a date until we booked the venue

We knew our wedding date, before FH even proposed.

About a week we booked our venue like two weeks after being engaged

I think we decided in about 3 weeks. We had 2 dates in mind then checked with our immediate families right away and chose the date that worked for everyone.

We discussed the time of year (winter) we wanted to get married within days of getting engaged. We landed on an approximate date about 6 months after getting engaged.

8.5 months.

A couple weeks. FH proposed in February and we both wanted a fall wedding, so if we wanted this year we had to make a quick decision!
