How long before the wedding did you get your flower girl dress?

I'm going this weekend for my 5 year old flower girl and our wedding is June 8th. I think I might be cutting it close but I don't think you need as much time as a bridal gown to come in. At least I hope that's the case!

The salon told me August for a November wedding.

I'm going with my Maid Of Honor tonight to go look at dresses for her daughter (one of my flower girls, she's two). I found one we both like, it's at macy's. I'm hoping to have all attire for EVERYONE taken care of by the end of April. so about 2-3 months before the wedding.

I waited to the month of. Kids grow fast!

I got ours probably 6 months out but i got it a size and a half too big(shes 3 and growing fast) now that the wedding is less than a month away her mom said it looks like its going to fit her perfect. (it was on sale and i wanted to make a couple of changes to it otherwise i wouldnt have chanced it)

We ordered them in February and they won't be back until mid-May. Wedding is in July.

My wedding is in august.....both flower girl dresses were ordered this month....they said it would take twelve weeks for the dresses to come in

I ordered mine about a month ago because I had to have it done in the color Apple so I had to get it ordered and shipped here in time

FH's two nieces are our flower girls - ages 2 and 4. FSIL bought dresses for them a year ago! She tried to guess what size they would be, and then got really nervous. But they tried on the dresses Monday and they fit fine.

Oh wow! You guys with getting the bigger dresses early I am so glad it worked out for you!

I am going to go to davids bridal this weekend and see what they say.. I am still thinking of ordering it in September. She is tiny

I also have my baby sister who is 8 (I know huge difference right?!?!) who is my jr. bridesmaid. We are gonna go dress shopping soon though for her and maybe get it just a little bigger - since she is a bridesmaid I think it will take longer for her dress to come in. (I think)

September wedding and 2/3 came in a few weeks ago. FMIL wanted to be in charge of ordering them and I think she got excited... I'm a little nervous though. The one was a little big on the one girl (both are 9 yrs.) and the other was just perfect so she is not allowed to grow! The 3rd dress is a custom so we had to order it way in advance.

We just ordered it Its a super cute white tulle dress with fuschia sash.

I ordered my two off of Amazon.com around September, and my wedding is March 30th. But you don't need nearly as much time for flowergirl dress.

FMIL is ordering this week, about 6 months out!
