Someone referred the FH to me as a client (I worked in finance at the time) and we had an instant connection. He used to stop by all the time and we'd talk for a long time and he'd always say we would go to lunch one day at Carrabbas (in spite of the fact that they're not even open for lunch during the week). That never happened but we kept in touch even after I left that job. He's a jack of all trades so I would call him whenever I needed something fixed and he would always rush to my aid. Finally, one day he asked if I wanted to go to the movies and I said yes. Just shy of 4 years later he proposed.
