Westin came through for us in SO many ways for our wedding. We definitely had some trouble finding a wedding venue no thanks to COVID and finally were able to find the Westin. We worked with Joy and Katherine, who could not have been more friendly and worked so hard to make our day go so smoothly. We really enjoyed working with them and found that they were able to meet all of our needs to ensuring we (and our guests) had a wonderful night. The staff was incredibly approachable, the venue was beautiful and VERY accommodating for a hindu ceremony! Highly recommend!

Catherine, the Sales Manager, was extremely helpful. The location was perfect as we had many out of town guests attending. The venue was first rate. and Catherine was able to provide us with a list of their preferred vendors, which we took advantage of. Absolutely a first rate, top notch, location and service.

The Westin BWI was perfect for our wedding! My Wedding was Aug 28, 2021; a rescheduled COVID Wedding from 2020. Joy Bird was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is very detailed and responsive. Always one step ahead! I am super OCD and I ask a lot of questions. She never came off bothered or annoyed which is appreciated as weddings can be stressful. She even got down on her knees and bustled by dress when no one else could figure it out lol. She was present for everything and visible and helping pre wedding, during, and even after. Joy is super honest; there was a billing mix up and she let me know right away and credited me back the money; that kind of honesty is rare. The staff was all super friendly and polite from the bartenders to the servers. Kathrine was also amazing to work with for coordinating the room blocks. The package was perfect for our budget and the cake came out amazing. If i had to say one thing wasn't perfect I would say the food was definitely better at the tasting but it wasn't bad at the wedding and understandably with feeding that amount of people at one time. Everyone had an amazing time and I heard zero complaints. I would definitely recommend The Westin BWI for a wedding venue.

My daughter's wedding was held on June 6, 2021 at the Westin BWI. Wedding planners Joy Bird and Katherine McDonough were so wonderful and flexible to deal with. They took care of everything the day before and on the wedding day. The wedding was a success because of these wedding planners. They were there with us all the time throughout the day and ready to do whatever we needed. Either you need a table at the entrance or the stage needs to be relocated and widened or need a space in the walk-in cooler for the flowers it was made available. The front desk supervisor Sky Orton was very helpful and friendly in organizing things for the wedding.
I strongly recommend this place for a wedding.

I worked with Joy at Westin and she was such a breeze to work with. I would hands down recommend her to anyone looking to have a worry free and pleasant event experience. She has adequate knowledge of cultural weddings. My wedding was a traditional Indian wedding and she handled it perfectly. Proper precautions in regards to Covid were taken as well. Bottom line: With Joy you are in good hands.

I met with director Julia woods and she was 5 star all the way . Her knowledge and her professionalism exceeded my expectations . This venue is contemporary chic .

We used the Westin BWI for room blocks for our wedding guests. We booked the hospitality suite for ourselves for 2 nights, and also used it on the wedding day for hair and makeup and getting ready. It perfectly suited our needs and the staff could not have been nicer. It even had a kitchen area complete with full size refrigerator/freezer. We were able to tour the suite a few months before to make sure it fit our needs. Most of our guests joined us for an after party in the hotel bar/restaurant until 12am. It was amazing and staff was courteous and swift with serving our many guests. I would definitely use the Westin again!

What a wonderful venue! They were extremely easy to work with and highly responsive. The pricing was dynamic to build your own package and exclude/include anything you want. Shira was quick to reply to emails to address any questions and concerns we had. The guests appreciated having the venue and hotel in the same space. The best part is the whole hotel has one ballroom, therefore your event is the only event for the day so you get their undivided attention!!

Shira was absolutely amazing! She jumped right in on my wedding day ( and prior) to ensure that my wedding day went as smoothly as possible. Words cannot express the satisfaction that I had with the staff of the Westin.
