How did you meet your love ?

Congratulations! I met my FH on Facebook dating. I was always a skeptic of online dating, but so happy it ended up working out.

I met my FH on match. He was the first and only one I met. We met at a restaurant at the bar for drinks one afternoon and we go back there every year for our anniversary.

I met my FH online as well! We met 2014, got engaged 2019 and will be getting married on our 8 year dating anniversary in 2022!

He worked at the place I started my new job. Within 3 months of me working there, he asked me out for margaritas! We will have been together for 2.5 years when we marry.

We met online as well. Started talking a few days after Christmas, he suddenly ghosted me so I figured he wasn't interested. Turns out he thought I ghosted him, so he messaged me again after the new year, we met in person soon after and 2 weeks later we officially started dating.

My husband and I met in 2010 at a party at one of our mutual friends house. We instantly became bestfriends and were bestfriends for 7 years before we started dating. October 6, 2021 will be our first year married and our 5th year of being a couple

My husband was the son of the owner of the company I worked for. He started working there full time after I had been there about a year and a half. We hooked up on a business trip, hooked up in secret for a year and started dating once we let his dad know/other coworkers organically find out. Not the most professional or romantic story, but it’s ours! We’ve been married for two years on May 4!

My friends and I usually go to a social pool hangout on Fridays in Philly. Well one particular Friday, one friend couldn’t make it because she had just given birth the day before!


So I decided to go anyway with male friend. By the end of the day, we all were hanging out and drinking by the bar. And that’s when I met my fiancé. I didn’t think too much of it bc I saw him and his friends talking to two other girls. He still asked for my number and met up spontaneously the next night. And the rest is history! From Philly to Pittsburgh to New Orleans. To our adventures in South Africa, Spain, Belize, England and Paris ——> we will be getting married in Savannah this December

I met my husband when I was 18. He was 26. I lived in Berlin, Germany at that time ( I’m part German) and my husband went to the German Highschool in Guatemala and therefore was in Germany to do his Masters degree and later Doctors degree. We met at a meeting for people from Guatemala. My husband lived in Germany as a child and later in Guatemala. We had similar live experiences and both had to live under protection as kids and teenagers ( Guatemala had a Long brutal civil war and both our fathers were in politics) so we quickly bonded.

Actually I lied to my husband and told him I’m 21 when we met because I was afraid he wouldn’t date me otherwise. The day he found out we were in a mall and I had a real teenager tantrum. He said he’ll break up with me. I cried so badly. He then took my hand went into the jewelry store and proposed.

Later he told me no woman ever cried for him and he just wanted me to be happy again.

We married and had our daughter the same year. But we lived in Germany ( super high taxes ) without most of our families and married very small. The next year his mother arranged a wedding in Antigua , Guatemala that was wonderful. We’ve been through so much and now want to do the wedding we want , finally.

We were all over the place really, from quickly getting together, breaking up to proposal, lol.

Awww congratulations!

I met my FH during a work training. We both started at a company around the same time & attended the same training at corporate for new managers. He was the first person to walk up and shake my hand. The coordinator of the training ended up sitting us next to each other & we have been inseparable since!

Also met my FH online. We were in a online Survivor fan group and became friends that way. We met in person after about 5 months because I was visiting NYC with a friend (E) and one of his friends (N) was friends with my friend E and they (N & FH) lived a couple hours away so they came up and spent a day in the city with us. We became really close friends and stayed friends for about 5 years, both of us dated other people in that time frame. Then in January 2019, I visited along with a bunch of other friends for a Murder Mystery party weekend and he and I shared that we had feelings. We were long distance though, didn't make it official till June 2019, and I moved in April 2020, got engaged a year later to the day.

We met in Highschool, walking to a class! He was interested in hearing my thoughts on alot of different stuff, we had alot of common interests and he continued to walk with me the rest of year to all my classes. Weve been together 5 years!

We met at my previous job! I worked at a bakery and the restaurant he was the chef at would buy our pies for their dessert menu. We were both in relationships at the time so it was just cordial. Then he started a new job within walking distance of the bakery I worked in and I would go and eat lunch there all the time. That's how we started really talking and getting to know each other. My relationship had ended and so did his. I went in and told him that I was starting to date another guy and I remember noting the disappointment on his face. Thought that was weird of him! Then when I told him I didn't click with that guy and ended things he asked me right away if I wanted to grab a beer sometime. We have pretty much been inseparable ever since! We'll be together five years in November and we'll be a year away from getting married in November. We wanted to keep our wedding date kind of close to our dating anniversary!
