How did you meet your love ?

My husband and I met at work at the end of 2018 and he proposed this March! We’re both in the military and became very close friends right off the bat. He always made my morning with his little wave and “good morning” that I couldn’t resist! He’s such a smart, funny, caring, and humorous person and the first man I’ve ever been completely comfortable with! I never thought we would end up where we are now. In June we ended up making a spur-of-the-moment trip to the courthouse with our parents and tied the knot! Now we’re planning our big wedding in 2023 on the date we went to the courthouse so we only have one anniversary date and we can’t be more excited!! It’s such a good feeling finding someone who not only makes you smile 24/7, but someone who randomly brings you coffee and wakes you up with a cup already made!

Congratulations! We met while I was bartending on the side in my local saloon. He returned from the Army and his father, who is a regular, introduced us. We became good friends then it continued!

We met when he came to do a paranormal investigation in my haunted house! He DM'd me early the next morning, and we have been joined at the soul since a few weeks into talking. I met my FH online, where he messaged me two times before I answered right before the holidays in 2017. We met on January 2nd for our first date and I was incredibly nervous, spring forward 2 days and I was in a tight money situation and he lent me $140 without question. I did pay him back but after that I knew I found someone special . I moved in with him 6 months later and we got engaged last November 16th and will be married 5/7/22. I meet the love of my life in Graduate School. For a year he crushed on me but was too shy to ask me out. I thought he was married or in a relationship so I never spoke up either . Come to find out we where both single. When we finished our last class , he sent me a message on social media and said he wanted to have a drink sometime. I still didn't understand that he was asking me out but it was the best decision ever to go out with him. We have been together ever since, He proposed on Graduation day and we are scheduled to be married 12/31/22. I can't wait !!

We met at a house party in 2013. Instant attraction and we dated a couple years until I had to move out of state. Of all places, we met in WalMart (yuck! 😆) on 2/7/13 around 10pm at night. It’s a funny story! Since WalMart was such an unusual place to meet, we had fun with it. For example, we jokingly created nicknames that we’ve used ever since. I call him “Wally” and he calls me “Marty” (get it?) 😉. And when we’re being funny, I call him “Wallace” and he calls me “Martha” Lol!! Also, instead of celebrating Valentine’s Day, we celebrate “Wally Marty Day” on the day we met (2/7). Corny?? Yes… very! But, I love it!

We met when I was 17 because I wanted to do my senior solo dance for my dance company to a song by his band. So he met me and gave me a CD. My friend and I started going to their shows and his guitar player and my friend ended up getting married.. but I broke up with him because my parents had gone through a divorce not long before and my mom was gone and I was dealing with a LOT. He was the only guy I dated who never did anything wrong! Fast forward - I get pregnant by a guy who ends up abusing me emotionally/physically. I manage to get out when my daughter is 3 turning 4. I saw my now fiancé again at our mutual friends’ house who got married that I mentioned (for their son’s bday party..I was staying with them at the time to stay away from my house..he heard I was there and made sure he came 😂😭🥰) and when he heard I was there he came to the party 😂 past and all. He showed up, my little girl crawled in his lap (not something she did to strangers) and we were together within the month. It’s been over 4 years now 🥰 wedding date 11/11/22.

We met on Twitter too! I moved to his hometown for college and he was following me for a while before I knew it. When I moved to Orlando to do the Disney College Program, we flirted with each other until I went back home and we officially met. We haven't left each others' side since and that was five years ago.

We met on OkCupid. We chatted while I was out of town for a wedding and had our first date when I got back. We went on 4 dates in the first week and have been inseparable ever since. He lived in the Philly suburbs and I had just moved into the city (from less than 10 minutes away from where he lived). He moved in after 6 months and we bought a house together a year later. That was 2 years ago and we got engaged on 7/27/21 and will be getting married in 2023.
