How did you meet your love ?

I met my FH during my freshman year of college at Central Michigan University. We really didn’t talk until we matched on tinder. After we matched we spent everyday together.

I met him on a dating website and we kind of jus clicked. He came to see me from North Carolina and he kinda jus never left lol. He’s now my fiancé and we’re to be married on September 24th, 2022. My story isn’t the most amazing story lol.

My fiancé and I met during his senior year of college a few years ago. We went to colleges about an hour away from each other and connected on tinder. I never would have thought that I would meet the love of my life on a dating app but it changed my life forever. We used to spend hours each night FaceTiming and it was an instant connection when we met in person. We lived an hour from each other for a few months until he graduated and got a good job right out of college, but this job was 4 hours away from where I was living and I was still in college. We did this distance for a little over a year and it was hard, but it made us appreciate each other so much more and our time together was priceless. I then graduated a little over a year ago and We moved in together and just bought a house and got engaged this summer. He is my best friend and I’m beyond excited for our wedding and to spend my life with the man I have always dreamed of.

My fiance and I met on Match.com. We felt an instant connection. We met and had our first date 3 days later. We've been inseparable ever since! I didn't believe you could meet your soulmate on an online dating app, but I'm a believer now lol!

We met through a mutual friend. Kinda. Lol.
He worked with this guy who went to school with my brother, I hadn’t seen him in years until he randomly added me on Snapchat, the day after he added me i get a strange request on Snapchat from someone else, a name I’ve never heard before. Usually I just ignore it but something told me to add it and see if I knew them. I wrote and asked if I knew who he was he told me “no, but you know my friend ____*. He told me to add you”

From that day on we talked every single day, telling each other our life stories and about all the bad stuff we had been through with our toxic ex’s. We bonded over all of it, He was a recently divorced single father and I was a single mom, we both had two kids around the same ages. Lol it seemed like it was too perfect to be true.
We decided to meet after a month of talking and it was perfect. We both fell head over hills in love with each other, he asked me to be his girlfriend the night we met, and I ended up moving 2 hours away to be with him. A little over a year later we’re still together, doing amazing. We just took our first vacation together in July to the beach where he proposed ❤️

We met on Plenty of Fish! Used online dating for so long, finally met a good guy from it. He met me while I was a pregnant surrogate and accepted me even though I was only going to grow the longer we were together! He took great care of me

We met on Tinder actually. We texted a ton for about two weeks before he asked me out. I almost cancelled the first date because I was scared of meeting a stranger, that he'd be buffalo bill from silence of the lambs, etc.

We met at 12pm for brunch on October 13, 2019 and our date ended up lasting until 8 am the following morning. We've been inseparable ever since!

I met my fiancé when I was in highschool we originally met at subway I was a freshman in highschool and he went to church with my mom (I didn’t attend the same church at the time so I hadn’t met him) my mom told me multiple times I needed to switch churches and on Easter I finally went and and met him again we were friends and we hit it off instantly we eventually started dating and 2 years in things started to fizzle out I was graduating highschool and that summer we split (for the better) we both moved on and spent that year apart one event lead to another and we ended up coming back around to each other things moved quickly and we started dating again within a year I was pregnant and had our 1st and 2nd child and I’m with my best friend things went more smoothly the second time around we were just kids the first time around but this time we had jobs and priorities and had a lot less drama going on this time we got engaged (officially) on Mother’s Day this year and are now planning the rest of our lives together and we can’t wait to say I do in September 2022 I can’t wait to marry the best life partner and dad I could ever ask for ❤️

I was touring the military school in my home town! He was leading the tour group— we started talking and just clicked. The next day ( I had to sleep there overnight) he asked me if he could walk me home and the rest is history ❤️❤️

We met at a convention (think "Comic Con"), that both of us had traveled hours to get to -- it wasn't a local thing for either of us, by any means! He happened to be cosplaying as Steve Harrington (my fave character from Stranger Things), and he looked incredible, so my girlfriends immediately made me approach him for a picture and to talk. I'm terribly shy, so I got my picture, thanked him, and got out of there FAST! I later posted the picture on Instagram and wouldn't you know it, one of his best friends found it and sent my post his way. We started talking after that, and less than a month later, we were officially an item. After dating long distance for the first year (omggg that was so hard, hats off to any long distance couples!), we both finally moved to my hometown to start our lives together. We'll be hitting our four year anniversary this November. :]

We worked together for 12 years. At first, I really didn't look at him as someone I would be interested in; I was always attracted to older and taller guys plus he was in a relationship at the time and so was I. But as the years went by and our relationships didn't work out. I became a supervisor ( he was already one when I started) and we shared an office together. Not a day went by that he didn't ask me to go out with him but my answer every time was, " I don't look at you like that, we work together" I kept the same response everytime he asked me, which was weekly. Now, take it we talked about alot ( at work and over thr phone) together, so we knew what each other had been through. So one evening while conversing over the phone he said, I have something to ask you and I already know what what answer is. He asked if I would join him and his best friends and their wives for a birthday dinner. He received the shock of his life when I said yes. Since that night we have been inseparable. We proposed to each other July 1 2021 and have a wedding set for September 24 2022.

My FH and I are high school sweethearts. I was 15 & he was 16. We started out as friends and we clearly had a crush on each other throughout that whole school year. Ended up dating that summer and have been together for the next 9 years.

We went to school together, I was a grade above him. He was so cute in highschool but had a lot of friends who were girls and I thought no way he would like me. So I graduated found out he was going into the Marines and I was like oh yea I won't see him again, he most likely live in another state or something. Then a year later he was at my best friend's cousin's house and I was kinda seeing her cousin so I couldn't talk to him then. Fast forward about 10 years and Facebook kept suggesting him as suggested people I might know. I kept removing him and everyday he kept showing up, so I finally just asked to be his friend. He messaged me right away asking if I know him and I told him I had a crush on him in highschool and kept talking. We went out and he never stopped coming over lol he moved in about three months later and we will be together 2 years in October. We got engaged in April in Disney, we were definitely made for each other. This is my love when he was in the military.

My husband and I met in college. He started in 2014 and I started in 2015. We went for different programs (him, Graphic Design and me, Filmmaking) so our paths never crossed until we bumped into each other in an elective class in 2017. We got put in a group together for a class project and it was history after that. A few months later, we started dating. We got engaged October 2018 on a cruise to Mexico that his parents took us on as a gradation gift and we just got married 5 days ago! It was originally February but we had to postpone due to covid. Just glad it's finally over lol.

After a breakup with a baddddd boyfriend in the end of 2015, I went on Tinder to just date around. But, then I matched with David. INSTANTLY clicked. Realized that we lived in two different states and tinder matched us across the Long Island Sound. He came over on the ferry, we had a 10 hour date and that was history! Long distance for 2 years, moved in together on Long Island in 2018, bought our house 2020, engaged January 2021!

These stories are so sweet!

I met my fiance at a charity ball. I'd been invited last minute by my sister's fairly new boyfriend, who knew the organising committee. He'd been invited last-minute by a friend of his, who was also on the organising committee.

I saw him across the room (he's 6'11" so hard to miss) and told my sister I thought he was the tallest man I'd ever seen. Her boyfriend took that as interest, and the organisers conspired to introduce us.

I originally started talking to him to give my sister and her bf some time to enjoy themselves without having to babysit me, but he was just a lovely human being and very easy to talk to.

We spoke pretty much the whole night and when we were leaving he asked me how he'd know I got home safe, and so I gave him my number!

I will say I was pretty burnt out from internet dating and had planned to take a break altogether. I almost didn't text him back when he got in touch. Can you imagine? I'm so glad I did - he's the best thing that has ever happened to me, just the sweetest guy.

FH and I OFFICIALLY met online 10 years ago, however we have been ships passing in the night most of our lives. After we had been dating awhile and talking about our past we realized we haf 5 friends in common, had been to the same summer camps as children, as well as lived in the same city on the other side of the country and moved back to Washington the same year. Our first date was at a local coffee house and we stayed till I noticed they were moping the floors and we’d been there for 5 hours just talking.

We met online- Match. We were living in two different areas in Pennsylvania. I moved to his area 4 months later. We have been together for 5 years this October. Wedding is next fall 9/17/22!!
