How did you and your significant other meet?

Tinder - 5 years ago. He swiped right, I had just landed in Louisville, KY for a business trip and I swiped right and we started talking that night and never stopped. It took about 5 weeks for us to meet in person with my work schedule / travels and then his.

We met through the dating app Hinge.
I saw a picture of a guy in a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey surrounded by storm troopers and it made me laugh. I sent him a message saying it was the best thing I’ve ever seen and didn’t expect to hear anything back.
We chatted through the app and via text message for a week before we went on our first date. We ending up going on the dates in a matter of 7 days, and we made it official under the Christmas lights at Busch gardens.
The funniest part of this is we grew up about 30 minutes apart and never met until we had both moved to Virginia for our jobs.

He actually was a “ Accidental“ swipe on my part! He didn’t have a bio and I NEVR swiped on someone without a bio. He messaged me on Mother’s Day 2019 with a cheesy pickup line that made me laugh out loud. We met at a park that evening once I was finished celebrating Mother’s Day at my parents. That next weekend we went to the beach and officially started dating. Tbh we moved pretty fast. Though I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life! We got engaged that following September and we are getting married in October!

We met at work, but I was friends with his brother years before

We met through church. He lived in a small town his whole life and when I moved there, I started going to the same church he attended. He wanted to meet "the new girl" and then eventually he married her!
