how big is your wedding?

I think it's a perspective sort of question and answer. Sure your 250 person wedding seems big compared to mine that will only have 100-150, but yours will seem small to a wedding that may have 400 guests. It all depends on what size wedding it is being compared to.

I agree with far too excited it just depends. Our wedding is only around 40-50 people but thats because most of my family cant be there and I didnt want to be overwhelmed by his entire family most of which he hasnt seen in years

My wedding is way bigger than I wanted it to be. I was hoping for in the neighorhood of 50-75 people. But b/c I am marrying quite the social butterfly, we're looking at about 200 guests. And that's ONLY b/c our reception venue (which HE chose) is limited to 200. Before we chose the venue, I told him if the guest list got to be more than 350 I wouldn't show up

I think 250 isnt too big. That's just about there

mines is between 200-250. I figured 100 mines and 100 his. The 50 comes in later with maybe's or oops i forgot about that person or couple lol

We're really hoping to keep ours right around 200, but realistically I think I need to consider that it could be in the 150 to 250 range just depends on who can make it I guess. It's bigger than I wanted, but I don't think it's too huge. I've never been one to dream about my wedding day and want the big wedding and what not, it just sort of happened that way and I'm cool w/it. But I do joke w/FH that some people have the small wedding and do a large wedding later when they can afford it...we'll have to do it backwards so I can get my small intimate wedding that I wanted lol.

Our ceremony will be small, jop, only having FIL's (if his mom comes, lol) his sister, her husband and his nephew, our neighbor with her gentleman friend and his best friend and his wife. Our picnic reception will be 70. I don't think yours is too big, seems good to me

I would consider 500 a big wedding, mostly because we're doing about 350, and that doesnt feel big, considering the majority of it is our family members. It's starting to feel like a big number now that I'm looking at church sizes though...

Our wedding will be around 175. That's considered small since most of my family weddings have been 350ish.

Our final guest list count is 262, to me that's medium, I know of couple that had at least 300 people AT the reception..

OUr wedding is about 150 people.. That is because I said I would not have a wedding larger than that... So we have left out a few people... I personally wanted a small intimated wedding maybe around 50 to 75... But just my FH closest family is about 85

We will have about 175. I consider this about average. As others said, it just depends what you are comparing it to.

I told my dad I was inviting 150 and he acted like I said 500! I actually expect about 80 people, so I guess mine will be a small wedding.

We'd wanted a small wedding between 50-75 but when my dad started inviting some more distant family the guest list soared to 160. We have 90 ppl on the books and since my wedding is this Sunday (ACK!) I'm sure it will stay pretty close to that.

We're inviting around 125, I think this is on the smaller size. I would say 250 is average to large-ish.

That's funny. I told someone we were at 150 and they thought it was huge. We can't go any smaller. My FH is one of 7 kids! Lots of nieces and nephews!

We are having a small wedding, 50-100. To me 250 seems like alot.

After many cuts, we invited about 160. I think 150-200 is about average.

I'm having between 100-120 people, I think. My venues are all limited to that number. If I had a larger venue, I'd make it 150-175.

My mum and dad had 600 people at their wedding. That's big. I'm having about 200 it looks like. That's...standard, I think.
