Good shapewear? Help please!

I think with the shape of your dress, it's gonna be a challenge anyhow, regardless of your undergarments. Just come up with a gameplan, its much easier than finding great shapewear! Ugh.

I found this one by flexees it's an easy up slip with a built in panty that has a button closure- but it's got a bra built into it. I would have to buy an xtra large to get it to fit my bust and then what's the point in wearing shapewear?

Yeah I looked at those and thought the same thing. Ugh. I have the top piece and was considering wearing those ridiculous sucky-inny panties that go right up to under your tatas. But some of that shape wear actually smooths you out in some places but pushes you out in others, and isn't even comfortable! So I'm starting to think I might just wear some comfortable panties with the top half thingie from DBs that I got.

In my own experience, that thing rides up, BAD, Tee.

Tee...where what you like the most...honestly i never did pee once i had my dress on...i think your aderline will be so high you wont even think about having to...

Well I hope I'm like you then! Otherwise I'm going to be in the handicapped stall of our bathroom with 3 bm's holding my dress trying to maneuver myself over the potty!

@cindy...top i wore the long line bra from davids bridal and bottoms cause i only wear (tmi) thongs.. and are self concious of panty lines (although you cant see anything under the dress, especially if you have the crinilon sp?), i bought the no seams nude thongs from VS.

Damn. I hope my aderline helps my blatter that day too! I usually pee too much as it is...add some drinks in there and I'll probably be in and out of there most of the night.

I couldn't stand the long line bras, they were too bulky under my dress since they have boning in them and my dress has boning also. Just too much bulk I felt like I was in an iron maiden lol. I think I'm going to stick with my shapewear I have now and then just hope I'm lucky and won't have to pee like Mrs. Seifert and Analy

Tee...see if you alterations lady can add bra cups in your dress..my neighbor did and she loved it...i need the extra tummy help and my dress didnt have the boning...

I wore spanx..my dress was huge..and yes I did have to pee once. I pulled the spanx down and my sister/moh held my dress up off the toilet. It took a minute to adjust it all again after but I didn't have to take my dress off (corset back..wasn't happening!). It wasn't the most comfortable thing to do, but I only had to do it once. Spanx actually have an opening/flaps in the crotch, but I felt more comfortable pulling them down (didn't want to pee on them lol).

My shape wear has a window lol...for peeing...I'm still not sure if I even want to try to pee with it on but you could always alter the shapewear to make it more bathroom friendly I guess

I have a corset, kind of like Cindy's but it's made to fit very low, covering your entire stomach and stopping just above the thigh so it doesn't ride up.

And about the MOH helping with the peeing situation...I prolly won't drink too much of anything that night cus I get stage fright in the potty if I know people can hear me. LOL

Wow I just realized I didn't pee either...from 5pm until 1am and I was drinking.

Oh I didn't know Spanx had a crotch flap! That's nice. I think that if I do end up having to pee as long as I can wiggle out of my stuff without taking my dress off I'll be okay. Corset back here too!

Not to steal your thread tee..but I just noticed that pic Cindy posted with the bustier...the model is wearing her petticoat underneath it. Is this the correct way?? Cus my sales lady at Alfred Angelo always put the petticoat over my bustier when I tried my dress on.
