Fun Wedding survey!!!

1. September 26th, 2010.

2. My daddy. And my best friend Sara. I'm even adding an orchestra version of "No Surprises" by Radiohead to the ceremony to ensure she does. Haha.

3. To Go Beyond 2 by Enya. To guarantee my daddy cries. Muahaha.

4. I'm having mine in Atlanta, which is where I live. Haven't booked a venue for sure yet, but Stephen really like the Marietta Educational Garden Center.

5. My colors are dark purple and silver. Purple is my favorite color, and silver seemed to match it well. I also don't really like yellow gold, so the silver color matches our wedding rings. (white gold)

6. At this point, not knowing when exactly I'm supposed to do each little thing. I.E. book venues, buy my dress (I'm having surgery in December, which makes it hard), send STD cards etc...

7. As much as she'll probably come to hate me for it, I love running ideas by my best friend and talking to her about everything.

8. Fake lashes for sure. I'm guaranteed to cry.

9. "There's no crying in baseball!"

10. My favorite flower is Alstroemeria hawaiian dream. But since the colors don't exactly match, I chose the white ones instead to go with my putple flowers...which...I still have no idea what kind of flower it is. Haha.

11. Okay so I'm colorblind. To ME, it's ivory. Everyone else is calling it gold/champagne.

12. Stephen's pretty much completely taken over the booking of the venue(s), catering, and honeymoon, which takes so much off my shoulders. He's awesome.

13. MOH hasn't really helped as she lives out of state, but my best friend and BM is kicking bridal booty!

14. I think our lists are about even. I have few friends and a massive family. Stephen has a small family and tons of friends.

15. I wish I knew. I bartered with Stephen for it and he won't tell me what he's chosen. He said I'm guaranteed to cry though. lol. Butthead. *rolls eyes* Gotta love him though.

2. Well I think most of my family will haha, I'm the oldest grandchild on both sides and the first to get married. I guess I "want" to see my sister (MOH) cry. We're so super super close, but not mushy gushy close so it would be nice to see her emotions come out.

3. Haven't thought about that one yet.

4. Fairmont, MN we choose to get married in MN (even though we are in NC now) since that's where both our families are from. We almost decided to get married in Winona, MN since that's where we met/went to college together but it got too difficult to even choose a venue since none of our family is actually in Winona. Fairmont's my hometown and most of my family is still there so it seemed natural and they have been a great deal of help!

5. iris purple and sage green - purple's my fave color, green is his. we went to the ribbon aisle of some craft stores. bought ribbon in 3 shades of each color that we really liked and then came home and put them together till we found a winner

6. being long distance and being really really super busy so I feel like I can't just do it for fun, I have to do it only when it needs to be done.

7. WW (haha) this might sound dumb, but the most fun part is when the FH gets into it too and we look stuff up together or just have convos about what we want/don't want. I love that he wants to be involved!

8. After reading something previously posted by you I think I want to go w/fake lashes to avoid running mascara from crying!

9. Hm, interesting question...I think I'll just be bursting at the seems w/excitement and think of how he's waiting up at the altar just for me.

10. FMIL has a huge garden and and her mom lives on a farm with lots of flowers/gardening space so I am pretty much giving her free range on the flowers. I'm just so happy to be able to have fresh cut real in season flowers!

11. My dress is diamond white. I guess it's less white than white, but more what than ivory

12. FH is a great help and I think he kind of likes some of the planning stuff. I like that he has an opinion too because I can be pretty indecisive

13. MOH has helped only with dresses so far. but not really much else she could be doing right now. I know she'll be there when I really need her to be though!

14.I have the longer guest list even though he has a bigger family haha. oops.

3. When I think I have one picked I hear a song and say thats the one so now I have 4 different songs to choose from. LOL

4. The venue is in New Jersey. My FH fell in love with it. Its perfect the hotel is across the road and its only 20 min. for where we live.

5. Victorian Lilac (favorite color) and Silver.

6. Worried whether we'll have the money to pay everything off in time.

7. Thinking up ideas and discussing it with FH and seeing how excited he gets.

9. About damn time been together 16 years.
