7. The most fun part of planning? Shopping for gowns with my girls & then alone w/my mom

8. Mascara or fake lashes? Mascara - I try to avoid the fake crap - hair, nails, lashes, etc - I just think it's silly & unecessary

9. What will/were you think of as you walk the isle? Hey, Ron messed up the music - oh well, I love this song! Oh good, Dan's (hubby) smiling!

10. How did you choose your flowers? I love gerbers so we used those, and then roses were a fairly inexpensive and pretty filler - tada.

11. What color is/ws your dress? Champagne satin w/ivory lace overlay

12. How much is your FH helping? I'd say it was about a 80/20 split - he didn't do a heck of a lot on his own, but he was there for me when I needed him lol

13. How much is your MOH helping? My MOH was VERY helpful - but that's what you get when the person you want as your MOH is an event planner by day anyway!

14. Which one of the two of you has/had a longer guest list? Me, definitely! My family far out numbers his - at least those that he talks to anyway.

15. What song is (was) your "first dance" to? 'I'm Yous' by Jason Mraz - it's definitely overplayed, but I like the song and DH actually picked it out - one of his few contributions to the planning process, so I went with it!

@ guerita: You're welcome! And yes, I've been checking back and reading every single one. Some of the songs and colors and flower ideas are just amazing! lol. Making me wonder if I shouldn't totally change my colors. (I was SO jealous when I saw someone talking about that wine color and I looked it up. It's SO pretty. lol.)

@ Jessica C. I've considered "I'm yours" as well, but I bartered away my right to choose. lol. FH has already picked the song and won't tell me what it is. My only hints are that he knows I'll love it, I don't cry when I hear it, but I'm guaranteed to cry when we dance to it. lol. (It's becoming a war between he and I, making one another cry at the wedding. lol. It's my mission to make him and my best gal pal cry. And because I know they're plotting against me, I will wear fake lashes. The last thing I want is for my pretty makeup to run everywhere because I'm crying the entire time. lol!)

WEST GREENWICH RI - WANTED TO GET MARRIED AT HARRINGTON FARM, BUT ITS AT LEAST A 2 HOUR RIDE, WHERE WEST GREENWICH IS 30 MINUTES TOPS FOR MOST OF OUR GUESTS. ITS OUT DOORSY, ON THE ATER, YOU AND UP TO 60 GUESTS CAN STAY OVER IN CABINS, HAVE SMORES BY THE FIRE AFTER THE RECEPTION. WE ARE MAKING IT A WHOLE WEEKEND THING, GUYS STAY IN CABINS FRIDAY NIGHT, WEDDING SATURDAY, BRUNCH SUNDAY MORNING, ALL AT SAME PLACE.

5. What are your colors and how did you pick them? ORIGINALLY WANTED SOME SORT OF HOT PINK COLOR (FAV COLOR) BUT DIDNT FEEL IT WAS VERY "SEPTEMBER" SO AM DOING SAGE GREEN WITH LIGHT PINK ACCENT

Oooh! Pink, silver, and snowflakes sound so pretty. Kinda like the dawn of spring. Still frosted and sparkling, but with that kint of new life. I love it! What kind of pink is it? I'm imagining a soft blush pink, but I could always be totally wrong. lol.

4. Fuquay-Varina, the Highgrove Estate. It's close to home, FH's immediate family lives in Fuquay. It's a beautiful, old southern house, ceremony overlooking a lake surrounded by trees in their fall colors.

5. Black Cherry/Burgundy, Plum, accents of pale pink and pale gold. Purple is my favorite color, esp the darker ones. Wanted the lighter colors to break things up.
