For the Non-Virgin Brides...

What is everyone planning to put that little extra spark back into the honeymoon/wedding night? I'm thinking about taking pole dance classes.

@Heather...I couldn't agree with you more. I could just see the FH's face even suggesting abstaining. lmao

@Maui...We have the same problem. All of our wedding guests are staying in the same B and B. I fully expect the room to be rigged with something shockingly funny.

The FH and I actually discussed this, as partying all night can poop one out. He said, he would actually prefer just lying naked and putting his arms around me, and saying, "AHHH", we are married. Of course, he added that he wanted to tuck a certain part of his body near a certain part of my body, but that would get flagged for sure.

As far as attire, my best friend and sister who passed in 2008, after an 8 year battle with cancer, bought me a lovely cream colored lingerie set...the official word begins with a P..I can't spell the darn French word. Anywhoo, she bought it before she passed because we were engaged but did not set the date. I can't wait to wear it.

@ cupcake - the first time without condoms is pretty special - we waited 5 years after both being tested for everything, and me getting a mirena fitted. Took me about 3 of those years to convince him that the mirena (or other alternatives) were safer than condoms for preventing pregnancy!

Wow five years! Yea I been getting tested every six months due to something I have inside me and I also getting my third and last HPV shot a week before wedding. I want to make sure that my FS won't catch anything from me since he was a virgin until I took his virginity last April lol. I am so afraid to have him catch anything even I only had a very few partners :/. What is mirena?

Well i honestly dont know wat we will do .. i know we plan on staying at our parents houses the night before which will be weird because by then we will have been living together for over a year ... our sex life has always been super kinky and he has never had romantic sex with anyone.. so the first night of the honey moon i think that we will just make love as corny as that sounds... and it wil be the first time without a condom as well so i know he will enjoy that lol.. the rest of the honeymoon bring it on lol

After the wedding was a wrap it ended at 11P...we had to head to the airport by 3am...add some drunk and excied friends who didn't leave the suite until we did (and some not even then!) and there went romance...however rest and a yank to the ole zipper once we got there was all that was needed. God bless the covenant of marriage! Whoo!

I don't know how you girls that abstained did it. I may be sharing too much, but FH is the absolute best I've ever had, not that there have been tons by any means, but I don't think I could NOT. I had a miscarriage in October and we couldn't be together and that was awful!! So needless to say, except I think I already have, we won't be waiting before or after. I might buy something pretty to wear for him but I agree with the idea that the first time as husband and wife will make it spectacular in and of itself as I've waited my whole life to find someone like him and now that I have becoming his wife will be the best day of my life!

I think the key is definitely to ask him plenty in advance, make some notes about his ideas, and then go from there with what you're comfortable with. I completely agree with you Shawna, I think that just the fact that you are now husband and wife is the most important differance you can have from the way it normally was!

@cupcake--Mirena is an IUD birth control method.

@OP- I bought white lingerie from VS. I've worn it twice since the wedding and every time it makes DS think of the wedding night and it makes it more special in a way. He loves it anyways :-)

Please don't get me wrong in thinking that I don't think the wedding night wont be special because like many, I have been looking forward to that day/night my entire life. I can't wait to be FH wife and I know that nothing that happens that day/night will change how perfect our union together will be.

@ shawna-I totally agree with you. as i said earlier, i think abstaining will be more difficult for me than it will for him.
