I feel the same ….never had a wedding or a dress this is my second marriage… I’m looking for something drop dead gorgeous so I made and inquiries about SoSobrat and her wife wedding because they weee beautiful… and they customize as well .

We are getting married after 25yrs together but I still want him to only see me when it’s time! I’m not sharing before!😍

Did the first look help with managing time taking photos during cocktail hour?

No Im not a fan... I think the moment the groom sees the bride should be shared with everyone.. Some of my best memories and Photos at my friends and family weddings are of the groom seeing the bride and shedding a tear or grinning from ear to ear.. I do not remember the food or the decor but I do remember the moment the groom saw the bride. Personal choice, but I will always think the First Look In private takes away the element of surprise and anticipation for the the brides entrance at the ceremony.

Originally we planned on doing a first look. We were going to go to a park or forest preserve near our venue. One of the few benefits, though, of postponing our wedding twice due to COVID is that it gave us plenty of time to think about what was really important. The more we thought about it, the more we both realized that we really wanted that moment of my husband seeing me in my wedding dress for the first time, and I wanted him to see me from the altar, not to sneak up behind him on a bridge. We're both really glad we opted for that. My sister-in-law took a quick video of my husband when he saw me, and I wouldn't trade that for anything.

We’re doing a first look. We aren’t traditional people as a whole. But nearly all of the weddings we have attended together and separate for the last 10 years have had first looks. A friend of mine got married a couple years ago and explained in her words why it works like it does. She was against the idea and her fiancé didn’t care either way. But the photographer convinced them that it would allow more time with guests after the ceremony because all pictures including family photos are taken before the ceremony. The bride mentioned that it didn’t take away any magic of walking down the aisle and it helped to calm their nerves because she was a wreck being an introvert on display.

Hello.
Im doing a first look because our ceremony and reception are at the same place and maybe somewhat rushed plus I want pictures outside before hand so that’s why we’re doing a first look. That will be our only opportunity outside of the actual event for pictures.

for myself but I like the Designer, so I contacted them and we discussed a few options maybe something blush or dusty rose with crystals and flowers… I sent them these pictures
