We r getting married in 04/09/22

We are forgoing the first look, I actually may end up doing a first look with my dad instead!
We just felt that the first look as mentioned before on here, would warrant a ‘fake’ reaction just for the photos and knowing the photographer is there just for that purpose while when he first sees me walk down the aisle will be simple, true emotions.

We're not doing a first look. I want that moment when I walk down the aisle to be the first time she sees me.

I was thinking of that with my mom or sons but he will not until we see each other down the aisle. And that will be a fabulous moment for the both of you. But what ever the couple decides on that day is there Big Day.

We have both been strongly anti-first look because we want to have the moment be at the aisle not some random park or outdoor area. So we are stretching our cocktail time to an hour and half and if we are done before then we will surprise our guests and mingle.
Listen first looks are still kind of new. For so many years people only did pics after the ceremony. Keep in mind a good photographer can still get all the necessary pics during cocktails. They can and will make it work.

I initially said no first look, because I wanted a bigger reaction when I came down the aisle, but he talked me into it by pointing out how intimate the first look photos would be
