I’m a mid-30s bride who finally gets to have the wedding I’ve been dreaming of since I was five! We were supposed to get married 04-04-2020 but postponed due to the pandemic. Now we’re 10-23-2021, which will be the day after my fiancé’s birthday, and a potential Halloween honeymoon! We were 90% done planning, so now we’ll fine tune everything so we can have the wedding of OUR dreams!

We’re calling our wedding “tradition with a twist”. We plan to keep a lot of the things you’d see at any wedding, but we’ll be making it ours just the same. My fiancé and I love movies, so there will be a movie theme: a seating chart that looks like a Coming Attractions board, centerpieces with figurines of our favorite movies, and popcorn-flavored Jelly Bellies in little movie theater boxes! Originally our colors were navy blue and yellow, when we thought we’d have a spring wedding, but we may touch that up now that we’re getting married in the fall.
