Extremely disappointed with our wedding photos...

I am grateful that the day went fairly well, we lost my mom for awhile but she turned up!

That's really disappointing. You look lovely in the photos but I agree with you. Those certainly don't look like pro quality.

I can definitely see your problem. These don't seem to have any editing to them, and that 3rd one is tilted. Have you contacted the photographer about it?

Yeah I wouldn't be happy with these (not that you don't look beautiful, they just look like I took them on my camera) I would express your concern with your photographer. Is there other examples of their work that is drastically different?

Yes, there's something very off about them. The good news is, you're married and you have images to remember the day by, even if they're not magazine worthy. I totally understand the sadness though and I'm so sorry!

I noticed on the pricing sheet from the photographer we're considering, there is an extra fee for editing. Perhaps this is the case with yours. You look beautiful though. I'm making a mental note to have this discussion with the photographer.

Marie - a true pro will not release unedited photos to you.

I think the group shots are nice. He could have reduced the highlights a little bit or lightened the shadows so the balance is a little better. Other than that, they look like they came straight out of the camera.

You both look so lovely but I understand the frustration. It's like you pay a lot for a photographer for a reason, and yes even it's in the 800-1000 dollar range that is still a lot of money! I guess the only thing to do next is review and help future brides from this.

I think the photos aren't bad they just don't look professional. Like someone with a camera could take these.

We were in the $2000 range for price, which in this area is mid-range-we live in a rural area.
