Essential or Extra - Engagement Pictures

Extra- waste of money for us so we decided not to.

Essential! We are getting our engagement pictures done in two weeks and I am SO excited! We are using them for our STDs, our guest book and pictures during the wedding.

Essential. We had almost no pic of the both of us because one of us was always holding the camera and I'm horrible at selfies. But we had my FBIL take the first set, and a friend is going to take the second set (one summer on the beach, one fall in the woods). So we arent paying for them besides the ones we decide to get printed.

Extra. But I did it. Something nice to mark the occasion.

Essential, but I love having pictures and it was fun! I would say essential though anyway because it is good to get to know your photographer and to be comfortable with them.

For us, these were essential. We wanted a nice set of photos to capture our time before the big day!

For us, it was essential! Was important for us to get to know our photographer more (even though she is the best and we already felt like we knew her). Also good for us to learn how to get comfortable in front of camera more. Plus our pictures are STUNNING

I agree! This is the perfect opportunity to try things out and of course who doesn't love awesome photos!!

Engagement Photos are essential. Even after 5 years, these spiced us right up. It was fun and happy and a great experience that lifted us both up and gave us something to look forward to. It was so fun as a stepping stone to share on the way to the big day. YES!

Our engagement pictures are included in the photography package but if they weren't I would still definitely want to do them.
