Great idea!!! I've always thought that engagement photos with pets were so cute.

ESSENTIAL. Pictures have always been a huge part of my life (pic or it didn't happen) and i am upset that i don't have pictures of the proposal, and now it has been almost two months and we haven't had any nice "were engaged" pictures and it makes me so sad! I need pictures to commemorate this special time!!!

Extra. A nice one for sure. I wish I could have done this years ago when we got engaged. But I couldn’t afford it then just like I couldn’t afford more than a courthouse wedding. I say if you can do it then definitely do it. It’ll be something you cherish for years to come.

For us, definitely essential. We really wanted to have engagement pics.

For us, extra. We decided to skip that expense. The pictures we really care about are the wedding photos.

Besides, we don't really put up too many photos us of around the house so why do I need an album of engagement photos lying around.

We opted out for e-pics because FH paid a pro photographer to capture our actual engagement and photos afterwards so I felt like that was enough.

I think it’s essential to see how you could potentially vibe w/ that professional. Having something for save the dates just makes it an extra perk. Luckily, ours was included in our package.

Extra. While cute and popular, nothing about them is essential to your big day.

Definitely extra.
I appreciate the argument that it helps you get comfortable with your photographer, but a couple of long phone chats helped achieve the same goal. We wouldn’t have used them for anything, and don’t really have any need for extra posed pictures of ourselves.

I think they’re awesome to have, but are extra. We are doing them, but they were included with our photographer’s base package. Otherwise, we may have skipped them.

I always thought they were extra and we really weren't planning on doing them. We have a short engagement and I thought it wasn't necessary. However I had my HMU trial and thought I would just ask if my photographer would be available that day and she was, so I thought, why not? We went to a remote, rocky beach that has very special meaning to me (I have been going since I was a child) and they turned out beautiful. We are very patiently (ok, not so patiently) waiting for her to finish editing them so we can share them with the world. I am so happy we decided to get them done. We got to work with our photographer, who was fantastic. I just want to capture every moment I can with FH

Essential- worst case my sister is going to take them. I feel like they are much more about you than your wedding photos are since its just the two of you. I can't wait to take mine!

Extra. Our wedding is in the $4,000 range, we didn't have money to spare on those pictures.

A must for me at least because

1 I LOVE PICTURES

2 and two they can be used as centerpieces, or invitation or/my wedding website

Extra! We've been together for 6 years so we have tons of unique and cool pics together that yah, might not be engagement specific but they show our love all the same. We didn't even discuss this.

I think that they’re extra, but they’re something that I would love to do, although j don’t think it will happen since the wedding is 2.5 months away....
