Engraving Wedding Band...??

We did with Hebrew. There's a phrase we themed our wedding around "I'm my beloved's and my beloved is mine." Mine has the Hebrew for I'm my beloved's" and his has the Hebrew for "and my Beloved is mine."

My ex and I engraved our wedding date on ours. FH and I don't plan to engrave ours. When I suggested it he looked at me like I was nuts so I let it go.

I wanted to surprise FH with an engraving on his, but I couldn't think of the perfect phrase, and now with 11 days, I've decided to just not worry about it.

My FH was whining the other day about how he won't be able to remember our anniversary (we both forgot our dating anniversary and ended up just picking a new one.) so I said we could engrave the date on his ring and he was WAY more excited about that than I expected haha so that's what we're doing...

We engraved ours - we just had our initials and wedding date: "A & J Aug 3, 2013". I decided to do it because when my grandfather passed away, my grandmother cried when she saw that his ring still had the engraving of their initials and date after 60 years of marriage. She cherishes that ring now as it reminds her of all the happy years she had with her husband. It sort of made me realize how meaningful it could be one day to have that extra personalization.

My engagement ring is personalized with "you are my infinity" so I may surprise FH by engraving his with "infinity plus 1" or something silly and cute that connects it to my ring

My fh keeps telling me 'we are one' so thats what were engraving on our rings

I am engraving my fiance's ring "For Peaks" This is a throw-back to many many years ago when we started dating. He would text me "I love you for reals" and auto correct would change it to "I love you for peaks" so the phrase stuck with us. We have other catch phrases and I have been throwing teasers out there for him. He says he wants to engrave my ring "Never to Fart". It's from that movie with Mandy Moore and John Krasinksi.

I secretly had his engraved with "X (infinity symbol) ^10 Ln". We have what can only be described as love battles...I love you, I love you more, I love you most, I love you times infinity, I love you times infinity to the tenth power logorythm......etc. I was very offended the day he said squared, lol

Forgot to add, he was planning on having "fart" engraved on mine just to be funny. Unfortunately, my band is twisted (barbed wire) and there's not enough room b/c I would have laughed hysterically every time I thought about it.

I always think of the "Never to Fart" from "Licensed to Wed".

I don't know for ours we never talked about it... I'll ask FH when he gets back in the room.

FH secretly engraved my rings with "Always have" and "Always will" in reference to our constant "argument" where he says he loves me more. I would like to engrave FH's ring, but I haven't been able to figure out what I want to put on it.

FH and I were just discussing this yesterday... then he mentioned he wanted to get "BAZINGA!" engraved (we are fans of the show 'big bang theory' lol) and now I'm not so sure I want ANYTHING engraved :/ lol

I loved getting my first rings engraved. We did the engagement with our names and the wedding band with the date. It was something that only he and I knew about so it was special. I think you should get it done!
