So my husband (married 5/18/18) proposals was just what I like no surprise lol I’m not one to have people starring at if he done it in public so we were home when he pop the question lol

We were on a cruise ship right outside of grand turk he wanted to watch the sunset before dinner and got down on one knee everything went a blur after that... I cried is all I remember

I love it too!! 😍 We never discussed what type of ring I wanted.. he knows I LOVE flowers (they make me happy) and he told me that now I will always have a flower on me to look at 💖

FH told me he would be planning vday plans this year. It fell on a weekday so he came over to my home and gave me 100 roses which is our tradition lol. He then told me that day that since it fell on a weekday he would be taking me out Saturday. Saturday comes and he blindfolds me and takes me for a ride. We get to our destination and he takes the blindfold off. My family screams SUPRISE. I’m so confused and SHOCKED haha. He gets down on one knee and tells me he purchased a ring (a huge ruby ring) from eBay and reminded me that I said I would love him and be with him through everything I said YESSSS. He then later surprised me with my real ring. I’ve ALWAYS wanted a blue sapphire and he absolutely surprised me and got something I’ve always wanted.

We were in the kitchen, cooking dinner and listening to music... and drinking wine. Occasionally grabbing each other to dance to a good song here and there. Eventually, he picked me up and sat me on the counter and held me close, whispered in my ear all the things that he loves about me, and started getting a little misty eyed. Then he mumbled something, and I said "what?" and he said "You're lucky I don't have a ring on me right now..." so I pushed him back to look at me, took off my $14 silly ring he bought me at Kohls a few month ago because I thought it was cute, and gave it to him. He looked at me like I was nuts but got on one knee and started to propose, but I slid down off the counter and sat an on the floor in front of him so I could be eye level with him when he did it. He ordered me my dream ring later on and it came in today... I can't be more happy with how it turned out! I'm wearing it this way because the matching band goes on the inside this way. Kind of odd to me to wear a pear pointing down, but I love it!

FH & I were on a family vacation to London & Paris this past June. Everyone (except for me) knew he was popping the question. FH & his sister even had a code word for the ring - tickets. He thought about proposing at the Eiffel tower but there was too many ppl/too much going on so he waited until the 2nd to last day. He told me he wanted to marry me & then before I knew it, he was on one knee! I immediately was in disbelief & asked him if this was really happening. Eventually I SAID YESSSSS!!

My FH is Welsh and he proposed to me at the top of Snowdon, which is the highest mountain in the UK. I also had to ask if he was serious. I was convinced he wasn't going to do it.

I love this post! Hearing everyone’s proposal story is so much fun! This past summer we were on vacation outside of Charleston at my parents beach house. He drug me out of bed because he “couldn’t sleep” and wanted to see the sunrise. I bitterly went along with it. I’m so glad I did! We walked for a bit along the almost vacant beach before he got down on one knee and proposed. It was perfect and private.

Meant to add, there was a bottle of champagne for celebrating in the backpack! He was super nervous I would be suspicious and look inside and ruin the surprise!!

My FH planned out a Saturday but wouldn’t tell me what we were doing. He picked me up and he drove us to this place where you can take helicopter rides. I was excited but nervous because I’ve never been on a helicopter before. We toured around Atlanta and when we were getting close to land I saw two people holding a sign and as we got closer it read Will You Marry Me? I was so surprised! We got out the plane and got down on one knee in front of the sign and told me how much he loved me and asked if I wanted to marry him. I cried and yes. He got us a hotel and dinner reservations. It was so perfect.

My husband and I had been going through a rough patch with his daughter upon our engagement, so I wasn’t really sure if it was ever going to happen. We had talked about it, but it was put on the back burner due to issues with his daughter, in which he enlisted my help to straighten it out. Which was all fine and dandy, but when you feel like you’re putting in a lot of work, and questioning why (i.e, that inner struggle between “I’m fine putting in the work, if I know we are going to be together forever, and when will ‘forever’ officially start? Or am I just being strung along?”). Needless to say, one night my man asked if I would go to an appointment with him after work. Since he has been going to the doctors and getting all his checkups, I said sure! Long story short, he took me for a horse trail ride instead (I’m an avid rider, and he always wanted to go, and he does have skills! And he had the ring in his pocket the entire time!) But afterwards, he decided to take me up to our special spot at Camp Hero in Montauk (where we were to be wedded a year later) and asked me all these questions about whether I loved him, wanted to be with him forever, etc. I was half listening at this point because I didn’t know where this was going and we have had convos about this already, when he got down on one knee and asked me....I only remember the words “wife” and “love you forever” to which I think I responded yes!! A year and a month later we were married in our special spot with lots of love and family and friends!

It all started on Christmas Day. I got 3 white boxes full of puzzle pieces and was told that when I put the puzzle together (without knowing what it was and without a box) that I would get my big present. I was determined so I put that damn 1000 piece puzzle together in 6 hours, it was Broadway in Nashville. I then got another box with tickets to a New Years Eve concert in Nashville (my favorite place)! It was an outdoor concert and after standing outside in 13 degree weather for 6 hours we couldn’t stand it anymore so we left to go bar hop. It was about to hit midnight so we went to the rooftop of a bar to watch the music note drop and when it hit midnight he got down on one knee and proposed! 💕💕

I love proposal stories!!

My daughter goes to her dad's on Monday and Thursday evenings, so those are generally date nights with FH. When he suggested taco night on a Monday I didn't think anything of it. As soon as I got off work, I called him- like every other day. He told me there was a change of plans and to go home to change for dinner at Tony's (a super nice steakhouse in our area) and ice skating at an outdoor rink that's by the restaurant. He told me not to worry about getting home late, he had already talked to my mom and she was going to keep my daughter until I got home. As soon as we hung up I called my mom and asked "Mom, what's going on? What's he up to?" but she told me she didn't know anything, he just said we needed a baby sitter. I was still aware that this might be "the night" because my sister was really talkative with me while I was getting ready and she generally isn't when I'm doing hair & make up, but I thought "eh, she's just in a good mood." When he picked me up for dinner I could have sworn I saw him put something in his coat pocket, but (allegedly) it was just his gloves.

Throughout the entire dinner I was like "okay, when's he going to ask?" "Why isn't he asking?" and it NEVER HAPPENED. After we ate, we went to the skating rink and we honestly skated for like 5 minutes- I'm a horrible skater, and to be honest I was feeling bummed because I had the tendency to create "the perfect proposal" in my head for A LOT of dates/vacations and getting my hopes up only for it not to happen and I thought this was going to be one of those scenarios again. As we were walking back to the car, FH said something about "being ready to take the next step" but kind of kept walking and I was like "oh my god....was that his way of proposing?" Turns out he wanted to wait until we were right beside the huge Christmas tree that's downtown to drop to one knee and officially ask. When he did, there was some sort of speech involved but to be honest neither of us can remember what he said lol.

I wish there had been someone around to take pictures but at the same time that would have been a dead give away. So, here's a picture of my ring instead! Just do me a favor and ignore my awful nails/ cuticles please
