Engagement Ring Bliss

Engagement ring: My Fiance- I guessed asked my sister to take the day off work. So the 3rd photo my sister took. Anyways we all 3 spent the day together. Shopping and all that. He mentioned in passing dinner then going to my favorite arcade -which we go to basically time he gets home after a hitch. Anyways. We go eat dinner, enjoying laughing (me being a butt cause i was grumpy for not eating for a few hours. ) When this random photographer (whos been going around to tables asking people if they wanted pictures) Anyways asked us. When my sister and I was taking pictures he said he'll be back and runs to the car. The photographer has gone away from our table. My Fiance walks up to me while my sister and I see the woman run to the other side and he gets down on one knee and asked. Basically enjoyed dinner and then celebrated at the arcade playing pool and video games.

My FH ( with the help of my mom) planned a trip for us and my 10month puppy for our 2 year anniversary and told me about it a couple weeks before so I would have time to pack and get work off. we had been starting to talk about getting married and do to my mom not being able to keep a secret from me (or so I thought) I knew he had been to see my parents and ask for their blessing ( I had told him he had to get both my mom and dads blessing). However, my mom told me he wasn’t going to be proposing until the holidays..
a week later while we were driving to Colorado the conversation of weddings came up and he let it slip that he had talked to my parents ( not knowing I already knew) when I then joked with him and said “ ahhh so that’s why you planned this trip eh?” he then proceeded to say “ I had actually considered proposing to you on this trip but then changed my mind, I want to stick to my original plan because it’s going to be special and perfect” my smart ass response was “ ok cool so you wouldn’t care if I search your bags ” to which he responded “ have at it, I have nothing to hide your ring isn’t with us”
On the second day of our trip we went to one of his favorite winery’s which was an hour away from our hotel. The entire time we were driving he was acting all fidgety and kept his hand on his lap instead of hold my hand like he normally does. When we got to the winery and we’re enjoying a bottle of the wine we picked out he kept standing up and walking in to the taste room to check on the cheese board they were going to be bringing out. When the lady finally walked out he turned to me and said the sweetest things... which I awkwardly replied “ditto” because I could see the lady out of the corner of my eye... my FH then got on one knee( Winston my puppy immediately ran over to him thinking “daddy” was wanting to play with him and about knocked FH over) and asked me to marry him....

the first words out of my mouth were in this order without a pause in between
“your such a tease”
”yes”
”oh my goodness! Where did that appear from”
“yes yes yes”
”how did you fit that box in your pocket”
“I get to become your wife”
and my favorite...
”oh my hell you lied to me I should of searched your bag” 🤦🏼‍♀️

Turns out he had been planning on proposing to me on the trip all along and he was right it was very special.
