PLEASE HELP! I am so torn between these two dresses. My wedding venue is a very modern, plain barn rather than a traditional "cabin" barn; therefore, the venue is formal rather than rustic. The flashy dress was obviously a sample dress and, therefore, did not fit correctly and we could not get it clamped down correctly because the beading. In other words, it is pre-alterations and will fit much better when ordered in my size. The lace dress is more relaxed but, to my surprise, seemed to be everyone's favorite. I personally feel as if the flashy one is more of my dream dress and it truly gave me my bridal moment; however, surrounding people's opinions have caused me to second guess myself because the lace dress shapes me much better than the flashy dress. I know I should go with my gut but just want othed opinions on which dress is more flattering. I am seeking honest opinions on which dress is prettier on me, compliments me more (granted the photos are from very different angles), etc. I will NOT get my feelings hurt whatsoever because I truly appreciate advice. Thanks in advance 💕

The same thing happened to me. The dress I felt I had my moment in people did not seem to feel the same way as I did. I continued my search for two months, constantly changing my top two (with my dream dress always one of them). I finally decided to go with my gut and I feel so relieved. I went to the bridal salon, only tried on my dress and bought it right then. I brought people I knew would support MY decision. I realized I was trying to make myself like what others did. Them saying it didnt match my theme (similar to your dilemma) was haunting me. But guess what-- your theme is YOU! It's your wedding! I say get the dress that made you bridal. That's what I did and I am so happy I did.

Definitely that first one (flashy) it looks amazing on you! They are both beautiful on you..but really the first one is gorgeous!!

Sparkly dream dress. Forget what other people think. The dress shiuld make.you feel fantastic because whem you feek good you look good, its also for your husband to imagine taking off of you.

My vote is number 1. I know we don’t know each other that well, but I could see you selecting dress two (probs a different color and without the train) for a different formal event. You look amazing in both dresses. Have you asked why those who went dress shopping with you liked the second dress? Do you know if the beaded dress in your size be taken in at your waste?

Don’t worry about not selecting the right dress. You will look stunning no matter which one you select. Just make sure you are happy in your dress. The end result is celebrating you and your SO coming together as one.

I commented on this in another post, but I’ll comment here too. It looks like I’m in the minority, but like the second one better, i think it is more elegant and love that the appliqués go down through train. I also think the top is more flattering on you and with not being as open has a classier look. Initially I wanted a dress that had all the sparkle and bling, but the dress I got has a more simpler sparkle to it and has clear sequins and beading that aren’t as noticeable in pictures as person. So depending on the price and your budget you may be able to have “spakrle” added to the appliqués if it doesn’t already have some. I also think the color throws off the bridal feel a bit too. Mine is a platinum so not plain white and I had that same feeling like that i wouldn’t look bridal enough, but now that it came in I love how different it is!

I love dress #1!! (flashy). Going with you gut is key, you don't want to just settle for what everyone else wants. It's going to be the only day you get married, you should get what you want and what you feel better in

Both are freaking stunning on you! If you had your bridal moment in the flashy one, I vote flashy. Other people's opinions are great, but its a feeling you can't get past. It's THE DRESS.

I do love the lace, but oh my gosh number 1 is IT! That flashy dress is a stunner!!! Go with your gut...it is YOUR day, not theirs. This is how YOU want to look. So you and only you should make that decision. 😘

Aww well I would love to give feedback. When I saw the pictures first w/o reading your actual post I GASPED seeing the first pic which is the more flashy dress. I Love it! But after reading your post I can see why your family said the second one bc of the way it accentuates your curves. But as you stated the beading was getting in the way of the clamps. I SAY GO WITH YOUR GUT YOU LOOK BEAUTIFUL IN BOTH BUT I LOVE THE FIRST ONE... AND ITS YOUR WEDDING & WHAT YOU WANT. I actually went through something similar my family gasped when they saw my second dress but I wasn't sold on it. I loved the 3rd more, and chose that one, and they loved it as well. I'm sure your fam will be happy if LONG AS YOUR HAPPY!
