Dress Dilemma

PLEASE HELP! I am so torn between these two dresses. My wedding venue is a very modern, plain barn rather than a traditional "cabin" barn; therefore, the venue is formal rather than rustic. The flashy dress was obviously a sample dress and, therefore, did not fit correctly and we could not get it...

PLEASE HELP! I am so torn between these two dresses. My wedding venue is a very modern, plain barn rather than a traditional "cabin" barn; therefore, the venue is formal rather than rustic. The flashy dress was obviously a sample dress and, therefore, did not fit correctly and we could not get it clamped down correctly because the beading. In other words, it is pre-alterations and will fit much better when ordered in my size. The lace dress is more relaxed but, to my surprise, seemed to be everyone's favorite. I personally feel as if the flashy one is more of my dream dress and it truly gave me my bridal moment; however, surrounding people's opinions have caused me to second guess myself because the lace dress shapes me much better than the flashy dress. I know I should go with my gut but just want othed opinions on which dress is more flattering. I am seeking honest opinions on which dress is prettier on me, compliments me more (granted the photos are from very different angles), etc. I will NOT get my feelings hurt whatsoever because I truly appreciate advice. Thanks in advance 💕

    Go with your gut! The better you feel in the dress, the happier you’ll be on your day.

    I vote for the first one because from the picture I think that it complements your body very well, and the material is so nice that picture looks like a Pinterest inspo! And also you sound like you’re truly in love with it. I’m afraid if you go with the second one you would always look back and regret. Trust yourself! You have the rest of your life to dress according to others’ expectations. Let your special day truly be the one that’s for you and make your dream come true!

    I am all for dress #1 -- so gorgeous! TBH, you look great in both. You have that figure that I imagine makes most dresses look great Smiley shame From what I see in the first picture (both you and your reflection), your hourglass figure is still there and the dress is definitely flattering. If that's your starting point, I can only imagine how well it will complement you once altered! I say go big and go home with the first that gave you the wow feeling because you're the one rocking it at the EOD.

    They’re both so beautiful!! I personally would choose the 1st one if your venue is a little more fancy😊 The 2nd one would be better for a more rustic venue with all the lace and flowers.

    I do agree that both dresses are beautiful on you.
    But trust your gut, and go with number one. It will help after it’s in the correct size and altered to best fit you. Smiley smile

    Honestly I think it all depends on which look you are going for. Both look great! I am more partial to the second one, but since the shapes are about the same you can’t go wrong!

    I think you should follow your gut and go with the first one, which looks stunning on you by the way! It may not hug you exactly the same way as the lace one but it still shows your curves and if you are going for a more modern/glam theme the first one fits better.

    You look gorgeous in both but I'm partial to the second one. That being said, I don't really like "flashy" so that's probably why. If you're worried about the way the first one fits to your body, I'd say alterations and ordering in the right size will definitely fix that! Buy the one that you love Smiley smile

    The first dress is absolutely beautiful! However, you look amazing in both. I feel that the first dress fits your venue more and has more of a "wow" factor. Feel confident that whichever you pick, you'll look great and your partner will love it.
