We picked the 11th as when we first met we spent 11 consecutive days together. Then based on our destination South Africa the weather and other important dates meant spring was looking best - so then April was selected as this is the month of our anniversary. I would have preferred to get married in 2018 - for some reason I don’t like 2019 but hey!
The day we met, the day we became official and the day of our first date all fell during the week this year. Also, the day he proposed is my birthday and I didn’t want us to get married on my birthday so, our wedding is a week later.
Ours is 6-9-18. The month has no special meaning; it was more of when our photographer would be available and when it wouldn’t clash with my school schedule. But the number 9 is my favorite number ever, so I love that!
We officially started dating on June 9, 2013, got engaged on the same day in 2016 and now I get to call him my husband on June 9, 2018 on our 5 years anniversary! I'm fortunate the venues we're available that day 😍. Now we only have to remember one date!!
I’m getting married on my parents anniversary. My daddy passed away 2 years ago but this day would have been their 62nd anniversary. I am going to decorate with magnolias like they did and my Mother is going to be my flower girl.
We are getting married on our 9 year anniversary. It fell on a Saturday this year so it worked out perfectly. June 30 2018! Next year will be 10 years together and 1 year married anniversaries. 😊
My fiancé and I tried to figure a date that had special meaning but had nothing special occur on a Saturday of 2019 so we just picked the day before we got engaged a year later.
We picked the busiest wedding day of the year. 08.18.18. At first it was just a cool day. Then my fiancé, who loves numbers, did the math and found out that will be day 888 of knowing each other. When we booked our venue the event planner noted that sunset that day will be at 8:08pm. Too many coincidences! We had to do it! One of our themes is now the infinity symbol.
Yes! 8-18-18 is our 11 - year anniversary so that's our date! It also happens to be the most popular wedding date of 2018 just because the date is cool - sounding. So we didn't get the venue we wanted because everything booked up on that date so quickly, but it's all coming together nicely anyway
Yes. We've been celebrating May 19th as our anniversary together for the past 18 yrs. So when we get married it will be our 19th year together and on our 1st wedding anniversary it will be 20 yrs that we've been in love with each other.
