Do you wear your ring 24/7?

I only wear mine when I leave the house. I have posted this question before a while back and when posted I never wore my ring. Now I even wear it at work. Once I forgot to take it off at the gym and I almost left it at a treadmill. I had to run back and get it before anyone started using it.

I only take off my engagement ring when I'm getting my hands into something (food, dishes) and I also take it off when I'm about to go in the shower. Other than that, it's on my finger all the time.

I take mine off to work with chemicals because it reacts w/ gold (I do hair). And if working w/ very messy things (see above) and that is just to keep it maintained properly. Other than that. I wear it always. That being said, I would worry about it much if you take it off while you sleep. It doesnt mean you love it or him any less. :>)

I wear mine 24/7! It never comes off, I figure I can get it cleaned and have a warranty so if something happens!

I take mine off when I shower, do any type of cleaning, and before I go to bed. I don't want the harsh chemicals to deteriorate the setting, lose diamonds, or the whole ring in the shower, or get it caught on anything while I sleep. I'd rather know it's safe in its box than down the drain or somewhere else.

I take mine off only to clean, do dishes, and anything cooking related that involves my hands

I can't sleep with ANY jewelry on except my nose and tongue piercings. I take it off to sleep, shower, and work out.

I take mine off just to shower. When my FH found out I did that, it really hurt his feelings. So the next time I took a shower I left it on. WELL, of course, I was right.... I was washing my hair and it slipt off. I caught it with my other hand! So I told him that happened and now he doesn't mind if I don't shower with it!

I take mine off to shower/get ready in the morning and when I clean, or when handling meat. Other than that, it's on all the time!

I take mine off at night, afraid my dogs will eat it. Also when I get a shower or doing dish, afraid it will go down the drain.

I take mine off when I go to bed, clean heavily, make any think food related with my hands and shower.

I never, ever take it off except for repair or cleaning. I even had them tape it on when I had my operation. Most of the people I know who have lost their rings lost them because they were taking them on and off and it's easy for it to get misplaced. If it slides off and on too easily, it could fall off in the shower, or when you've got soap or oil on your hands. Mine is a little small and difficult to remove for that reason. If you're nervous about chemicals, wear gloves. It's not good for your hands either.

I take mine off at night before bed and don't put it back on until after I've taken a shower in the morning. I always put it in my jewlery drawer at home so I know exactly where it is. If I can't put it in a safe place I don't take it off. But I'm a little clutzy and have a bad habit of scratching myself with it during the day I'd hate to see what happens at night!

My engagement ring only comes off when I'm dealing w/ "mushy" food, or taking a shower. I dont want it getting full of conditioner or lotion. Just like some others here I lotion around it throughout the day. I always use gloves while cleaning & gardening. I feel naked w/o it!!

I wear mine ALL the time.. I'm a total ditz and would lose it if I took the baby off!

I wear mine all the time... only taking it off for showering and cleaning/cooking messy things or while I moisturize!

I take mine off to shower, wash dishes & lotion my hands - otherwise its on all the time

I take it off when dealing with raw meat, deep cleaning with bleach and stuff, and dyeing my hair.

I used to take my ring off to shower and I walked out the house and left it on my jewelry box. I almost had a heart attack. I felt lost without it. I put gloves on if I feel its going to get dirty. I never take my ring off.

The only time mine comes off is when I'm showering, doing dishes, or mixing food with my hands. I dropped it off to get sized today and I feel naked without it!!!!
