I think it depends on how long she's working but typically you do. Mine will be there for about 6 hrs, so I'm going to.

Check your contract it should say right in it. Even if it doesn't I think it is a good idea to give them food. Most likely they won't sit and eat it, but you don't want them leaving to go get something. Talk to your venue/cater and see if they have a vendor menu depending on what time of day your wedding is they may do different things. For example if it is a day wedding they may do a sandwhich spread or something easy for the vendors to eat while they are running around. They also most likey do 1/2 price meals or an alternative meal.

I am. I asked all my vendors if they would be eating a meal just to make sure. Most vendors with have this information in their contract.

Jazmin..that is a little rude that he is requesting to be included in the rehearsal dinner. I never heard of that!!!! My photog said they don't require a meal but appreciated one if it is provided. They will be with us about 10 hours so we are providing them the same meal we will be eating.

I agree they should be fed if they are there for over 4 hours but wow BOTH rehearsal and wedding reception. I don't know about you all but our meals are costing us $75-80 per person!!! AND there isn't a vendor discount at our venue :o

I don't think requiring "inclusion" in the rehearsal dinner is rude if he's providing services for it. He's probably just been burned in the past by people who made no provision to feed him. Come on, do you really want a photographer who's feeling faint?

We had a casual picnic dinner, and we included our photographer in that.

I definately am. My photographer will be there from the very start of the day until the very end of the day. I do not want her to be getting all sick on me! I also plan on feeding the DJ and our baker because she stays with the cake.

I worked as a wedding photographer's assistant for a LONG time. PLEASE FEED THE PHOTOGRAPHER AND HIS/HER ASSISTANT! They will spend a long time there and need food to stay energized and up to the task.

Also, please try and feed them first instead of after the guests. If you have the venue feed them after the guests, they won't get to eat because they'll be missing action since the guests will all be done eating.
