Do you ever take your engagement ring off? What are your "ring rules"? 💍

I've been engaged now for a little less than 6 months, and I still don't wear it everyday. I'm in a long distance relationship and absolutely love wearing my ring when I'm with my fiance or if I am going out. However, I don't really wear it when I'm at work around colleagues or if I'm around my family members. Personally, they all know I'm engaged so why flash an expensive ring around them if I don't need to? I always keep it in the box when I'm not wearing it though...I refuse to let it sit in a ring dish without it being in the box first!

I’m a police officer, so I don’t wear my ring everyday. I wear it on the days I’m off. On my working days, I wear a silicone band.

I wear my ring everyday. But I take it off at night and when I’m at the gym.

I almost never wear it at home. It’s a decent size so I’m always afraid it’s gonna get caught in something or something will happen to it. The dogs also like to try and eat it while it’s on my finger. I also do not wear it to the gym. But any other time I leave the house it’s in my finger.

I only take my ring off when I am in the pool or working out like rock climbing. Ihate the feeling of not having it on my finger. I'll probably won't have my ring for a week when it goes to be sized to fit my wedding band so I'll have to find something to put there so I don't forget what it feels like to have one on 😆

All the time, only take it off when I sleep

For the most part I keep my ring on. Sometimes I take it off before I shower. I started doing that because my skin was breaking out under and around my ring. I’m constantly washing my hands at work so I take off my ring to put on lotion. I plan on getting a ring that’s appropriate for work and working out at some point. Like those enso rings. Have you heard of them??

I take it off when I shower, sleep, cook, and clean. Anything that could get messy or damage it really

I only take it off to cook , sleep , if I’m doing my hair (I put gel in it ) and if I’m putting lotion on. Besides that I always have it on I feel so naked without it on

My ring comes off at work and put in my desk so that it nor the products I work with get damaged.
My ring comes off at home and put away immediately. Or the cats try to bite it on my finger.

If you use it in the shower it looses it's sparkle faster unless you clean it often.

I take my ring off when I shower, swim, workout, and sleep. When I'm not wearing it, I wear a silicone ring (except for when I sleep) and I also wear the silicone one when I'm going to an amusement park or somewhere I know I'd be worried about it.

I wear my engagement ring all the time unless my dr requires it be removed for medical reasons

I wear my ring about 50% of the time lol. If I'm at the house, more often than not, it's off. If I am going out (for work, activities, etc), I wear it.

I just don't see the need to wear it all of the time. It's still special to me whether I wear it at the house or not

I wear my ring 24/7 we got engaged 1 year and 1 month ago. But have been together for 8 years and 4 months and 5 days. So we already feel married lol

I take mine off to shower, clean, cook, or if I have to fix a stupid printer at work 😂 Otherwise, I don't take it off but I still get paranoid it's going to fall off or if I accidentally knock it against something.

As a hairstylist with a pearl ring, I definitely do not wear it all the time. I do have a necklace that I can slide the ring onto without taking the necklace off. So I still have the ring on my person and on display. With the pearl being a sensitive stone, I do take the pair off when I shower, swim, or work out.
