Do you ever take your engagement ring off? What are your "ring rules"? 💍

I love my ring 24/7

I always take my ring off when I sleep because it can mess up the prongs. I also take it off to put lotion on and shower. I got a cute little jewelry holder that I put my ring on when I’m not wearing it.

I more so follow the 6 s’s . I honestly didn’t know it existed. Lol but I don’t wear my ring when I sleep, shower, work out, or cook/clean. Only when I’m at work or go out in public. If I’m at home the whole day I won’t wear it at home.

I sometimes take it off if I’m cooking certain things and when I want to wash my hair other then that I always have it on

I'm not a fan i believe the heart should be the paramount ring not diamond or steel we put on.

I wear my engagement ring all the time and a silicone ring to the gym and to work. It just feels odd now not to have something on my ring finger. We don't have "rules" it's just what I'm comfortable wearing and when. FH will most likely do the same, his ring outside of work and the gym and a silicone one to work and gym.

I work as a paramedic so I have to take my ring off for work for safety reason. It’s always in the box if I’m not wearing it

I do wear my ring but not at school
When I go out I wear my ring out the time

I remove mine as I’m a nurse and it hard to assist with surgery with my ring. Which is why I’m hoping for a simple band for the wedding ring.

I leave my on 24/7. My fiancé got me a tungsten band that works with our lifestyle. Between my job in construction, taking the jet skis out on the lake, and going to the gym (I do take it off at the gym depending what I’m doing that day at the gym), he wanted to make sure mine was very practical. He knew that I’d probably lose it, so having one I can always wear works better for me.

I am a cake decorator and work with food, food dyes and icing so I definitely take it off so I don't damage it ..but as soon as I get home that beautiful ring is on my finger !!! I also take it off when I'm in the hot tub , cooking or taking a shower, it sits in it's little box home when it's not on my finger ! 💍

I only take mine off to shower. Otherwise it is a permanent accessory to my hand.

I don’t take mines off at all. Just because he doesn’t want me to. He was married once before and it was basically because her parents made him marry her because she was pregnant not because he really wanted, his mom bought the rings for them and they didn’t lasted too long together. Now, we’ve been 9 yrs together and he actually picked out the ring and proposed. Once he proposed he told me to please never take it off because it has been the first ring he ever gave to someone with his heart. And he wants this ring to be given to our kids if we ever have any. That’s why it’s really important for him that I never take it off no matter what. And I agreed to it.

I’ve never actually heard of these S‘s before. But I do take my ring of when I Sleep, shower, swim & scrub. I also take it off before I apply lotion to my hands for the most part, sometimes I don’t but then I try my best not to get lotion all around and in it. Otherwise, that baby is on my finger, even when I workout.

I only rake it off to shower and wash my hands. I set it on top on my phone so I don’t forget it 😬

I take mine off to sleep, sometimes to workout/ hike if it's muddy, and cooking. I have set spots I place it, and in the mornings I won't put it on until I shower/ have somewhere to go. Don't need that much bling to watch Netflix in PJs on the weekend lol

I love my ring but I hardly wear it because I work in a hospital setting and my ring is too big for gloves or I’d be afraid it’d come off with the glove and into a biohazard bin 😬 (as well as not while I put on make up, sleep, shower, cleaning, garden work, etc.). Until I’m married and I start wearing my wedding band, I bought an enso ring to wear when I’m not able to wear mine so I at least have a ring on.

I wear mine 24/7. I only take my engagement ring off when I take a shower.

The only time I've taken mine off was when we traveled internationally for our honeymoon and I didn't want to bring any expensive jewelry with us. I would take it off if I was painting or something, but I shower and do dishes and clean with it all the time. just make sure you take it to your jeweler periodically for cleaning and to make sure all the prongs are intact!
