Disappointed..had my florist do a mockup and it sucked (looked cheap)

The bottom was supposed to have the lilies, roses and some hydrangeas in fuschia to give it some fullness and color. she didn't have any fuschia colors at the moment, but I'm shocked that she substituted roses and carnations for the flowers I asked for. I just sent her all 3 photos and said I want the look of these centerpieces, send me a mock up and if you don't have the correct flowers, wait until you do.

Wow, this reminds me of that video I posted the other night. "But THESE are wedding flowers!"

I was about to say "THAT doesn't look like it should be 200 bucks!!!!"

I really like your idea tho, and I hope the Cabo person can do a good job... or stick that Austin cowboy boot up far where the sun don't shine and call it a day

Hey There...I own an event coordinating and photography business here in VA...and i'm also planning my own May wedding...

TRUST ME....don't spend that crazy amount of money on floral! I made one very similar for like $40 a centerpiece...Michaels has silk flowers that look amazingly real...you can get some great specials because it's spring time...If your in the area...More than happy to make them for you!

Ok my centerpieces are not calla lillies but they like much nicer and fuller than these and I'm paying $70 per centerpiece. I hope your florist can listen to your concerns and re-do this centerpiece cus it totally does look like a rip off. Maybe you can bring in these comments to back you up if you need them.

Wow - just wow. I would be PO'd, too! I don't see how what they did was worth $200. I had a florist quote me MUCH cheaper prices for centers with more expensive flowers. FAIL

Sharon, you have EVERY right to be pissed. I hope your coordinator gets it handled ASAP. What was her response?

The centerpiece (mockup is about priced to value..Although the design is all too...compact..The pic that you intended to have done would be at least 280.00

Before I read your entire post, I thought to myself..."Oh, great, another bride that wants a mock up of her $5.00 centerpiece and she's disappointed b/c it looks cheap!" I mean no offense, but I hear that a lot! You are obviously not that bride! LOL! I would expect a lot more for $200, of course I am in a rural area where prices are naturally lower. But it looks like they just stuffed some left overs in a vase and called it done.

You would think that she would have used the flowers you asked for, even though they weren't the color you wanted.

Or go out and get a couple cheap silk flowers just so you have an idea of what it would look like. Then again I'm not a florist, but if they want the business, you do what you can to make the customer happy.
