Who is getting married in 2021?

What have you checked off your to-do list so far?

It does feel so far away😩. We decided to knock out the big decisions 1st, so we have the venue, DJ and we have the lighting and flower company booked for our date. We will probably take care of photography by the summer and start really getting into the little details.

So excited to have people planning for the same day as us! The day seems so far away! We have booked our venue so far and have visited a wedding expo. We plan to get to the real planning about a year out.

Hey Patrice! We're getting so close to our year mark, though, which is super exciting!! We did our big stuff early too. I've booked my venue (which is all inclusive so catering and stuff is done too), photographer, videographer, and I also have bought my dress already! But we're asking bridal parties in March and doing smaller details starting this summer too. Best of luck to you in planning! Feel free to post in this discussion as you do stuff or if you have questions. I'd love to share ideas with each other and give encouragement while we're planning!!

Definitely feels far away but it will fly by! We have out venue, photographer and have our eye on a caterer at this time. We have engagement photos set up for March 21, 2020, so about a year out for our STD we will probably send out in May/June! SO excited!!!

This is pretty cool! Our date does seem so far away but as we plan along it will be here before we know it. We already booked our venue, videographer and are meeting with a photographer this coming Saturday! I also began planning for our engagement party. So exciting! The best to all of the Future brides sharing our date!

This is such a cool thing! Love having the same date as others from all around! We’ve got our venue booked. Haven’t done anything big yet besides the date and venue being booked. Already started looking for BM dresses and colors, just doing small stuff from here and looking for decor ideas, until about a year out!

I love hearing from you all and can’t wait to see the progression of everyone’s big day! March 27th of next year seems SO far away but the days seem to be flying by!
I’m such a planner, so we have our venue (which takes care of everything including decor, flowers, lodging, and much more coordination), DJ, photography, and videography. We have tastings with caterers scheduled and I plan to begin dress shopping mid-April. We were anxious to get the vendors we really were passionate about and building a strong vendor team.

I have found my venue we just aren’t able to put down our deposit prior to the one year away from mark so waiting on that . We actually just got engaged Jan 25th so we have our engagement pictures scheduled for this March 28th ! We have a family friend who is a dj so that will save us ton. I too feel like it’s so far away but I’m still confused on when to make official bridesmaids proposals and when to start dress shopping ! It’s all so exciting but so overwhelming!!!

Saving scares me being that I will have a 1st birthday party to throw in November and then the holidays then our wedding 3 months after yikes ! Lol but I say start NOW ! Even if you and your partner both save a certain amount each month you should be ok it also all depends on when your vendors expect the final payments to be made . I know our venue has to be completely paid for 10 days prior to the event so try to figure all that out so you can plan out how much money you need and by when ! Also I think august and September for dress shopping sounds great because I too was confused about that

Hey y’all! Where’s everyone in planning now? We have our venue, caterer, photo booth (this place books FAST), dj and photographer! Actually getting engagement pic next Saturday the 21st!! So excited!!!

This is such an amazing community!! It feels so far away yet so much to do! We have our venue and photography booked. We are meeting with dj this weekend and the florist, caterer, baker after this crazy virus is cleared up!

Hey! So far we've figured out our venue, our bridal party for the most part, started creating our guest list, more or less have a color scheme picked out, figured out one of our minor caterers for the after party, and created a budget.

Hey brides! Our venue is in Austin, is anyone else kinda worried not necessarily about their wedding but everything else before? I can’t get over that I can’t really do anything to plan the bachelorette or shower or anything else... I’m scared to even talk about those things because I don’t want to sound selfish or insensitive. Anyone else going through this? Anyone else still booking vendors but also putting rescheduling language just in case?
