I don’t think it’s selfish, I’m worried about everything too. It’s likely that large gatherings will still be banned come next spring, so we may not be able to do our weddings the way we’ve been planning. I’ve been feeling the same way and have also been talking with vendors about the plans if COVID causes us to reschedule. You’re not alone in this. We can only do what we can and hope for the best at this point.

I am freaking out as well. It's so hard to plan. I'm in New York and everything has been closed for two months. I don't have my dress yet either because I thought I had time. I looked once, but wasn't in a rush and now I'm totally freaking out. This is just such a stressful time with so many unknowns. I totally understand how you feel. I wish everyone the best!

I don't totally know how the replies work for this, so if everyone who has commented will get a notification or not, but would anyone be interested in a Facebook group for our date if I made one? It might be helpful to ask each other for advice especially now with COVID-19 being an issue, I thought it might be a good place to support each other and get help. Let me know!! View Quoted Comment I feel exactly the same way and but also planning like normal too because I don’t want to lose out on vendors. I had 2 dress appointments cancelled already and don’t even know when I can get one at this point. My state is slow reopening by counties, but my city (Philadelphia) will be the last to reopen whenever that is. And neighboring states of NJ and Delaware are also on lockdown. Fingers crossed that it all works out for everyone.

My fiancee and I have our venue booked and don't have to pay until 2 weeks before the wedding. I am thinking about getting my dress in August/ September. We are nervous about putting down money on venders in case covid 19 comes back next year. I am not sure how I am going to organize my bridal party to go dress shop (have a large bridal party). Also , I am stressing out being my fiancee isn't big into the detail just like tell me where I have to show up and he is there . I am the one in the relationship who is into the little details . The only thing that he was involved with is making sure we have an open bar.

View Quoted Comment Thanks. Cases in Philly, and the state of PA are slowly increasing which makes me nervous. There are people who don’t care which makes me angry because we could be like other countries, with declining cases and increased economic activity, if everyone cared.
As for my dress, I have not got one yet. I have an appointment back to the first shop I went to this weekend to buy it. Hopefully it’s not too late as I’ve read on a couple other threads that some dresses took 9-10 months to arrive. At this point, it’s only 8.5 months away.
I’m glad you found yours. That’s 1 less thing to worry about. And hoping cases will start to decline again for your state (and everywhere else) so we can all have our day.
