Hi! I'm not sure if there's already a group for this or not, but I thought it would be cool to connect and talk about what y'all have already done planning wise. It feels like our date is SO far away. Share anything and everything here! Can't wait to hear from y'all!

Thats great! And yes, same. However, I won’t need my photographer nearly to the extent that I would have for our actual wedding day. So I’m hoping I can transfer those services to the vow renewal and just pay her for the couple of hours for our elopement. I also haven’t booked flowers for this reason

Hey, So sorry I'm just now getting back to you I just saw your response.. I live in Baton Rouge Louisiana but my wedding is in Ponchatoula.. It's about 35 minutes away on the interstate from my home..
But now that Biden won I'm scared to death that the whole state's going to get shut down and my wedding will be ruined.. I am just dreading next year and I'm praying daily that the state will not get shut down... I'm still planning my wedding as normal and ordering everything I need but I'm so afraid!! How about you What are you guys doing how are you feeling about this??

Okay so I just ordered my save-the-dates a few weeks ago.. They have not come to me in the mail yet, So I still have to get them address all the envelopes and then send them out.. I had not ordered bridesmaids dresses yet.. and the wedding is 4 months away.. I also definitely have dress regret, for both of them.. So no ma'am, you all have all the normal feelings you should have!! LOL!! I am right there with you!! But yes, we will be fine everything will be perfect and beautiful and great!!

My fiancé and I made the decision to postpone our 3/27 wedding to 2022 (after already being engaged for two years) and I’m just beyond heartbroken. I know it’s obviously the right decision looking at cases right now and knowing they’ll probably go up after the holidays, and when we first postponed two weeks ago I was relieved to not be in limbo anymore. But now that it’s setting in, I’m just so sad and feel so alone. Just looking for any sense of comfort and reassurance.

Hi Megan. I feel for you! We’re in a similar situation, except we really feel that we’re going to have to postpone, but our venue won’t let us until there’s orders from the governor about wedding capacity, which is really frustrating. But this is definitely a heartbreaking situation and I really feel for all of the couples from 2020 and 2021. This is a really bad situation and we just have to try to make the best of it. You made the right decision for you guys and that’s what is important. Sending lots of love your way!💗
