Our original date for our wedding was October 17, 2020. We postponed our wedding due to covid-19 Saturday March 27, 2021. Is our lucky month and it will be in Mahopac NY. The venue is elegant and the food, cake and customer service is excellent. Tomorrow I go to David’s Bridal to try on dresses. I rather rent my dress and still looking for a place. My favors have 10-17-2020 and my invites were mailed end May (with a covid note announcing new date).

I just did my second round of invites and RSVP’s. I plan to mail them October.

I feel so behind, haven’t even started dress shopping. Figured I would definitely go by next month. We also just sent out our save the dates. We plan on sending the invites in December.

I would definitely go dress shopping ASAP. Many bridal shops will charge a rush fee if a dress is ordered within 6 months and we are almost at that mark. Do you have any idea of what type of dress you think you want? I only say think because I know many brides, including myself, thought they knew what they wanted and purchased something completely different.

Hi there! So we just got engaged June 27th 2020 and picked March 27th 2021 because that's the only date the venue had so I definitely feel like I'm behind the ball on this stuff. A couple of questions for everyone. I know save the dates should have already gone out hut we didn't have guest list together yet. Are still finalizing now. I have everyone the date when I asked for their info be be put on our knot website. Should I still do a mailed save the date or just an email? We have our engagement pictures the middle of October. So unfortunately won't be able to incorporate those into anything. Maybe just put on our website. I've seen a mix of dates on this thread for when you are sending out invites. What are your thoughts behind when you are sending them out? Thanks and good luck to everyone!


Also... Am I the only one with bride regret? Like literally every choice we make I regret it immediately... Like I definitely want a different dress, photographer, DJ after I give them a deposit. Just keep telling myself it'll be fine lol.

View Quoted Comment For us, most of our vendors won’t refund us, so we’ll definitely get married on that day with just parents probably and then try to coordinate with all vendors to postpone hopefully a year out to do a vow renewal
