Changing Your Name - Do or Ditch?

I changed my name. I couldn't wait to get rid of mine.

I took my wife's name, but it's definitely personal preference.

Doing, I'm super excited to change my last name.

Not excited about it, but I'm going to do it. It'll just take some time to get used to. I'll also have a lot of documents to update

Yes! He came up with the idea of smushing our last names together, no hyphen. We both have short last names and he loves how much our last names sound like periwinkle together. I didn't want to ditch my dad's last name, but I want our family to all have the same last name. Are we meant to be or what?

Doing it because I wanted to. I like the idea of becoming part of his family. I'm keeping my last name though too--just having 2 last names :-)

I am changing my name but ditching my middle name. My maiden name will now be my middle name :-)

I'm an only child and don't want to change my name, so we might hyphenate them instead, but we haven't settled that yet.

Yes. I can't wait to be his wife and share his name. Though it will be hyphenated with my current surname, his will be first.
