Ceremony Venue: Modern or Traditional?

We got married in a church due only to financial constraints and lack of wedding knowledge at the time. For our vow renewal, we are looking at possibly a yacht or riverboat.

Modern, we both agreed we wanted to get married outside in the mountains. At this point, we are looking at getting married at a group campsite on a reservoir.

Modern. We're getting married at a manor with an outside ceremony and inside reception.

Modern. Getting married outside off the beach and reception is inside the venue

Traditional. We will be using a chapel that is located on a local historic site.

Modern! We both agreed that our future children will be taught all different religions and will have the opportunity to choose their religious path when they get old enough. I’m agnostic and my FH is agnosto-atheist so we’re getting married in a garden by our friend

Very traditional....

Non traditional. Our ceremony and reception will be in the same location and decorated to our taste. The location is not a place of worship.

Our venue is an old silk mill converted into a wedding venue - lots of exposed brick - ivy walls - etc.

We chose the laboratory mill! We like the idea of having the ceremony and reception in the same place so we don’t have to worry about driving to different places and it’s easier on our guests.

Modern. We will be getting married in the garden at our reception venue

We went modern with a golf course venue, so green and tall trees, its beautiful.

Modern! we knew we did not want the traditional ball room venue!

We chose modern.. a beautiful rustic chic venue!

Traditional. I considered other venues but was not wowed! I could only image a grand entrance in my church an actually walking down a real aisle.
