We are having a 2 tier custom zelda triforce cake that feeds about 35 plus a half sheet cake to feed another 40 or so, delivered and set up for $170, but our venue charges $1 pp for cake cutting. Still a pretty great price overall.

Wow after reading what everyone has written I think that the Denver area charges way too much... I think that its $6 per slice... havent figured out the math on it... and they said that the flowers were more because I wanted a ton of them... and they arent roses or anything... I am posting a picture of what I want but where the white is will be navy blue and the flowers will be white

Those prices are crazy!!! I am doing my own cupcake tower and it's for sure going to be well under $100. Possibly even under $50!

I also made my cake topper for under $2.

I would definately call some people in your area.

Mine is being done by a family friend, and she said to make it it will probably cost about 175 to feed 300people. So thats what I am paying Smiley smile Its three teirs and three different flavors!

heres the inspiration picture, only mine will be square

Ours is included with the vendor, so not sure. We can pick the flavor and icing/topping. I think we'll more than likely end up with extra charges, though, because we want something special.

All the bakeries I have been looking at quote me at $800 or more for a cake to feed 200-250 people. Crazy. Honestly, there are many things I care deeply about (my dress, my photographer, my DJ), but cake just isn't one of them. Yeah, I want it to taste good for the guests' sake, but I don't care what it looks like. Honestly. I think we might do cupcakes and sheetcake.

My aunt has done lots of wedding and graduation cakes. We're having a three-tier round cake and then sheet cakes to feed the rest of the masses. Should be under $100.

I think it will vary a lot depending on your location. In my area $3 to $3.50 a slice is pretty common. We are doing cupcakes that are $2.25 per person.
