What made you decide to wear flats with your gown? Did you feel it took away from the occasion? If you've bought your flats, please post pictures! Thank you

I can't imagine wearing heels all night so I am just going to go with flats. The bridal shop told me if I wore heels and then changed into flats later on, the dress would drag. Sooo flats all night it is
I wore heels everyday in high school but I have a joint congenital condition that got really bad once I turned 18 so I can't wear heels anymore. Our ceremony is outside too so I oils the wear heels even if I wanted too
I kind of did. I had 1 inch heels and literally there are no pictures of my feet so I don't see why it matters. I switched to flip flops during dinner and was eventually barefoot. Nobody even knew.
I would love to wear heels even though FH and I are close to the same height. However, me knees are so bad (need total knee replacements) that wearing heels would be too painful.
I'm wearing flats or a small wedge for comfort! FH is quite a bit taller than me, but I want maximum comfort on my wedding day! I know I'll be switching to flats at some point and don't want the hassle of messing with my skirt all night. Best to get it hemmed to my normal height and not worry about it the day-of!
I'm wearing flats bc FH and I are the same height and because I never wear heals, I have arthritis in my ankle, I'm not gonna be in pain just walking at my wedding. I got Talaria Flats for myself and my bridesmaids. It came out to $25 each and I'm including them as a part of there gift (hes, this is not the only gift, lol).
Mine are the all gold and my bridesmaids are the white with gold tips. We are all wearing them to the entire wedding, not just the reception.
So we met online and his profile said "5'7" or shorter" so I almost didn't respond because I'm about a half inch above that! He doesn't remember putting that in there (it was a very long profile) but I figured if it was enough for him to type it then it was enough for me to go buy him heels! They're called elevator shoes out of a company in Frederick MD and you wouldn't know from looking at them that he's got 2.5" under his heels making him just slightly taller than me instead of slightly shorter. So I'll be wearing flats of course, while he wears his "heels" hehe.
I'm wearing flat sandals in my wedding next weekend. I've never been a huge fan of heels, but I really don't want to be standing up at the altar preparing to say vows and only thinking about how much my feet hurt or wishing I would've had flats on. I'm wearing a long dress, so no one can see my shoes anyway! It will in no way take away from my wedding, I think I will be able to focus more on the occasion.
