Brides wearing flats

I appreciate this post. Ive often wondered the same thing. I'm considering flats as well. My main reason is that we are having an outside wedding ceremony and I'm sometimes clumsy! I think it will be way easier to wear flats and eliminate worrying about falling. I also think flats will be more comfortable for the reception. But...then I feel like it takes away from the formality of the occasion...I might try wedges. Ugh I'm still undecided.

Comfort is important to me, which was the main reason I'm opting for low wedges for the ceremony and flats for the reception. I'm also not that coordinated and would probably fall down in real heels. I have finicky feet and spent a lot of money on well-structured Clarks. But neither pair is that fancy. They are a fairly neutral champagne color. I will be able to wear them to work and other events. I've already worn the flats several times in my day-to-day life. That made it easier to justify the $200 price tag.

Another reason I'm doing wedges for the ceremony is that I like what heels do for my posture but I can't stand the pain. I'm hoping that this way I get the best of both worlds.

I'm wearing flats because FH is shorter than I am already.

I'm wearing converse sneakers for the reception n a low heel for the ceremony.

I am wearing flats or sandals. Heels kill my feet!

I probably will because 1) they're more comfortable and 2) I'm 5'9" and FH is 5'11", so I don't want to be taller than him or at his height.
