Where I'm from people create a registry for a bridal shower. Typically, guest give money at a wedding.

I made it the same registry. We're just calling it the registry. If people want to buy gifts from the registry they can, if they want to give money they can. The registry info is on our webpage.

I prefer to give a gift, not money. To each their own!

I would just create the 1 registry. We are registered at 3 places, but we give all three to anyone who askes. Some of the stuff is things I want and some are stuff we want. I think its just easier for you and for them. Honestly, if I was going to get you a present for both things, I would either find a larger gift and just give you 1, or I would use the same list to buy both anyway.

People wont spend alot on bridal party gifts so the cheaper items on your list should work

Like Vanilla_Nut, in my area/culture/family, you just create one registry. People can buy off of it for either the shower or the wedding...but typically you receive gifts at the shower and money at the wedding, so the registry ends up being mostly for the shower.

Bridal gives include lingerie (if you allow it). Places like Hanky Panky don't have a bridal registry, but you can share your wishlist. I think I am going to include things I need for the wedding such as bridal emergency kit. Some people include gifts for the home (for both groom and bride), but since it's the bride's party...I'm gonna request a bunch of gifts tailored to me. Haha!
