Bachelor party shenanigans?

A bachelorette party without strippers is just a bridal shower. If I wasn't going to have strippers I wouldn't have a bachelorette party. I would just have the bridal shower. Because honestly what is the difference once you remove the strippers.

Wait no we talking about bachelor party that is the only thing the guys have right. There isn't a bridal shower equivalent for men.

FH doesn't care for strip clubs but he went to New Orleans for his Bach and went to some. And I did not care at all. I think ive actually been to more strip clubs than he has. You can't touch them unless you get a private room and I trust my FH and his groomsmen enough to know that wouldn't happen. I don't feel like I could ever tell him "no, you can not do that" about anything! I would expect him to be respectful enough to me to say "can we talk about this, I don't feel comfortable" instead of telling me I'm not allowed.

I'm ok with it- odds are he'll be too drunk from golfing or fishing to even pay attention. I went with him to a strip club and he fell asleep!

@Julia...I didn't have strippers at my bach...it definitely was not a shower though. You must be confused...There is plenty of shenanigans that you can have without strippers.

Its pretty much a given that he'll have strippers at his bachelor party, i don't really care but i have told him that there are boundaries. he has told me what some strippers did at his buddies bachelor party so i would almost rather they go to a club rather than hire one to go to a house or hotel room

I don't know if strip clubs in NY are differnt but I've been to strip clubs with FH and his friends. Let me tell you, this one time his friends were basically having sex with their clothes on. They were rubbing allll over the strippers and vice versa. They weren't just "watching" the girls on stage. The girls were walking around & the more money you gave them the more they gave you. FH's best friend was actually making out with one & then she took him to a back room. He left with her phone # and God knows what else. And yes he had a girlfriend at the time.

But, I would still let my FH go to one for his bachelor party because I trust him and I trust that he wouldn't go that far. Does it bother me? Absolutely. But like you ladies have said, I'm not going to be with him 24/7 and I need to trust that he won't ruin what we have for something like that

@Emmy I'm sure there are plenty of shenanigans you can do but whats stopping you from doing it at the bridal shower. I always thought bridal showers was for the moms, grandparents, aunts, etc... it's like a soft version of the bach. party to show respect for your elders. And the bach party is for you and your girls to swing from the chandelier with it.

@ Jessica - I know someone that went to the strip club for his bachelor party....was also taken to the back room, cheated on his FW (slept with the stripper) and she never found out...I wasn't there and idk know them personally but we had a mutual friend. Also i went to one with my FH and one of the strippers was literally giving some guy a hand job through his pants. LOL nasty whores!! I mean I understand some strippers only want the money but some are just dirty!!

Theres always going to be people who break the rules and go overboard and cheat and hook up with strippers at their parties. But that doesn't mean everyone will do it. It comes down to do you trust your FH or not? If you trust him, then you trust that he wouldn't cheat on you, regardless of where he is, strip club or not. If you don't trust him to go places like that, then you need to reevaluate your relationship and if you should be getting married.

@Ruth I'm not saying you can't have a good time without strippers. I went to a casino party with my friends this past Saturday and we had a great time without strippers, but it wasn't a bach party. It was just a party. Without the strippers for me and my friends its just a party. What will make it different from any other girls night we have. I guess when you party as hard as me and my friends do for special occasion you have to step it up notch. LMAO

Um...showers are for many other ladies to come and 'shower' you with gifts; bach parties are supposed to be a small party of your close friends, normally people in your bridal party, to get together and have fun before the wedding. But there are a lot of ways you can have fun that do not involve strippers.
