Bachelor Party Poll

I didn't put any restrictions on the type of bachelor party FH could have, but he actually decided against having strippers. He is a very low key, laid back guy, so a wild party is definitely not his style. I'm not having strippers either. I've been to strip clubs for other people's parties and I was kind of grossed out by it. And I guess I don't really understand the idea behind this type of party. I mean, we've already been in a monogamous relationship for 3 years, so it's not like we are giving up some sort of sexual freedom. I also don't feel like I want to wrap up the end of my "single" life by having some strange guy's sweaty balls near me. Lol

It doesn't bother me. I do agree it is cliché though.

FH doesn't even want a going out type of bachelor party anyway, he wants to go hunting with his friends. I told him I didn't care if he had that type of bachelor party. It's one night.

He picked me to marry for a reason, so I trust him. I honestly think he'd rather go camping and drink beer though anyway.

DH went with his buddies to New Orleans. They went to a strip club. I didn't care. He doesn't go on a regular basis - only when he goes to bachelor parties. I told him to keep the glitter to a minimum. To be fair, he spent most of his NoLa strip club in the bathroom puking due to 3-for-1 drinks and texting me about his misfortune. It's not our thing but we will go and have fun with our friends.

My FH can do whatever he wants (obviously as long as he doesn't touch, haha) but he's probably going to go out for beer and grub with his cousins for his "bachelor party" and I plan to do the same with my girls.

I'm fine with it. I think it's part of the fun. Although I don't think FH is going to have any. I want guy strippers at mine lol.

I couldn't care less. It's not something he's into but I wouldn't be surprised if the guys taking him out made that part of the night. I went to a strip club last summer (although it was a gay men's strip club and I went with a bunch of gay men for one's birthday) and we all had a great time being silly and buying drinks for our friend for his birthday. FH did not care a bit. As long as he comes back in one piece I don't care what his boys plan.

I don't personally care that much. I don't want a stripper to touch me and I don't think FH would either.

I was all for it! DH wasn't. He's really shy and would feel out of place, he even told me "I don't even know what you do at a strip club". I pretty much just wanted him to have a memorable Bachelor Party

I kid of agree with Julia (although I know that women are attractive and he'll recognize that fact because he is a human being) and I haven't restricted him from going, but I know that's just not him. Although his all night Xbox party... Some of those graphics are like having strippers in your own living room lol!

I don't care at all, but FH says he wouldn't go to one unless I came with him.

Although now that my phone finally updated I see your second point and I agree about the stripper-like graphics in your own living room as well! FH's favorite game is Mario Kart though (lol) so it's kinda a moot point for us haha

I have zero problem with it. The best man actually frequents strip clubs and has many stripper friends. Just goes for conversation. He's a little strange. But super nice guy and very smart. He just likes to talk and fix other people's problems. And strippers got some problems. Lol. Joking aside, I have no issue. Although FH has said repeatedly that he does not want to end up at a strip club because he doesn't like going, I'm sure he will because of the best man planning the bachelor party. FH says he doesn't like it because it's usually awkward guys oogling women and he hates the idea of spending money on something that he could get for free (wink, wink). He also says they often are not very clean. I've been to one when I was younger. First row in a shower show. Completely nude. It was awkward because I have a personal bubble issue, but I had no problem with my boyfriend at the time being there and if my FH is there for something like that, I don't mind. It's just simmered down porn in real life. You can't touch them and they wear more clothes than in porn.

If I wouldn't "allow" FH to go to a strip club, then I would have to prevent him from watching porn or seeing any movie higher than a G rating, which is ridiculous.
