August Wedding

Hi! I am 8/15 in NJ. Not excited at all anymore and full of anxiety. I feel robbed of the experience I’ve looked forward to my whole life. Don’t know what to do. Almost wish “they” would release a statement saying all gatherings for summer are cancelled, so that we can move on from this limbo state of being. Did you send/order invitations?

We are going to hold off a little on the invites too. It helps a little to know there are other brides out there feeling the same. No one else understands how we feel. Did you have a shower or Bach party yet?

Our date is 9/5/20 and I am also in PA. We are moving forward with our date as of now and hoping to make a decision by mid-June when our invites need to go out. However, we do have a back-up date of 9/18/21 already set with our venue and vendors. Places book up so fast around here...when I reached out to my venue about two weeks ago they only had 5 dates available for next year between all of the reschedulings and new couples!!

Stay at home orders were just extended to June 7th where I live....I could cry 😭

I'm so sorry you're not enjoying the planning process as much as you might have under more normal circumstances. This is a tough time for engaged couples. All couples. People in general.

I just filled out the form for my vendor to get my invitations started and to be honest I wasn’t even excited. I basically as this point just told them to do whatever they want because I feel so confused about it right now. Like you said, I just feel robbed.

My fiancé and I are getting married 8/28/20 in stroudsburg too! At the Stroudsmoor.
Freaking out a little. But being hopefully everything turns for the better by then!
