Are you getting your wedding bands engraved?

We're not doing our wedding bands, but FH had my engagement ring engraved with my new initials with his last name, which I liked

Gorgeous ring! I put the title of our first dance song and the date on his. He put words from one of our readings on mine (and the date).

I had DH's engraved with "Mine For Life 09-27-14." He had only 10 characters to work with so he had my initials and Te Amo engraved. I took Latin in high school and it means "I love you" (same as in Spanish). So my ring says KMS TE AMO. Naturally I'm a huge fan!

I may surprise mine and get his engraved.

Yea I wasn't sure if I use my current or new initials. Feels weird to use the new ones

FH speaks some German and says I love you in German a lot. That might be a good idea to do that.

Your ring is gorgeous. We want to get our rings engraved. We're thinking about the date, or maybe "my love" "my life" as we call each other these things in Arabic.

I saw a Dr. Who themed wedding band that had "together forever, in time and space" engraved in it. I don't know that I will purchase that ring in particular, but I really liked that engraving. I would consider putting it on whatever ring I got.

I havent thought about this but I definitely want to get FH's done since his will be so plain.

DH got his engraved with my initials and the quote by Rob Schneider from the movie, I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, "It's a circle." Before we got engaged, we could never get over that part of the movie. Corny....but he loves it.

I had mine engraved with 3 does because we got married on the 3rd and because I have two bands that are exactly alike for each side of my ering and I wanted to know which one he actually put in my finger at the ceremony.

His is engraved with out wedding date 'October 3 2014' in gorgeous cursive

Thanks! I do love the ring, but I don't love it with my e-ring, That's a whole different story though.

@alysha do you mean you would engrave the outside? I have only seen it done on the inside. Interesting.

Your ring is GORGEOUS! I did not engrave ours because i had so many other things to do, but i wanted to. i think i'll do it for an anniversary! something simple like 'forever I will love you'

@Suzanne I haven't decided if I'm going to use that but it would be funny to see the reaction when I tell the engraver lol

I had his engraved with his nickname (which has special meaning to us) and our wedding date with a heart that separated the name from the date. I surprised him with it, and he loves it.

I honestly didn't even think about this. My fingerprint will be in his wedding band, so I don't know if there will be room. Where do you get this done at?

@fwr I was just going to go to Kay where we got the rings. They have been great so far. I didn't ask if the engraving was included in our package. I also have like $1400 worth of santa certificates from them but you have to spend 3x that to use them and I don't think it would cover the engraving.

I am planning on getting his engraved as a surprise. I am not sure what I will put on it yet. Our song is Lost Together so I might do our initials L & D Lost Together and the date.

We always do the whole cheesy "love you more" "well I love you most!" Thing so I'm going to engrave his with Love You Most

@kaylarae FH says he loves me more ALL the time. I gave up and I just say "Yep!" I guarantee he will work it into his vows.
