Anybody Ever Had A Horrible Dream About Their Wedding Day?? Or is it just ME!?

I dreamed that my bowling-theme wedding was turned into a ballroom wedding without my input. There was a bunch of cheesy light-up decor and a mariachi band. I kept telling the guests it wasn't right, that we're supposed to be bowling, but they all laughed at me.

Note: my wedding never had a bowling theme, and I have no idea where that came from.

Ladies THANK YOU! I have these dreams every time I start to get stressed. I have dreamed that it rained, that the groom didn't show up, that the venue got changed and we forgot to tell the DJ and photographer. And many many more. They make my nights horrible sometimes but give me something to laugh about later.

Yeah i find myself laughing at it to my fh thinks i am crazy...i knew i wasnt alone. lol

Haha! Yep, I had a horrible dream too, I definitely think it is stress related. Our wedding is going to be a vintage-rustic-chic theme with birds and trees, and the colors are tiffany blue, mustard yellow, and gunmetal grey.. But in my dream it was like burnt orange and brown and the centerpieces were so simple I hated them, and there was like pumpkins everywhere for no apparent reason. We were getting married in this junk shop so our wedding was on one side with piles and piles of junk on the other side. So at the last minute I went searching through all the junk trying to find the right colors and decorations that we lost to try to make the wedding the way it was suppose to be. The flowers were HORRID. The guests were banging on the doors trying to come in, and I wasnt even in my dress. No one was helping me, my mom was just sitting there doing her makeup, and I was running around like a MAD MAN! lol. Needless to say, I was sooooo thankful to wake up and realize it was a nightmare!

I had a similar dream last night. It was my wedding day and I was just then picking up my dress but it wasn't the one I bought. It was gold and very simple, nothing like the one I bought. Then I questioned why I was getting married in February instead of September (even though it's March right now). It was crazy. That was probably the most sane one out of all of them. It must be the stress but you aren't the only one, that's for sure.

I've had a few bad ones. One dream I went to eat bbq in my dress and spilled all over my lap right before walking down the isle-- and my hair wouldn't curl right, so it was just sticking straight out to the side. There was no time left, so I had to walk down the isle just like that-- lol. Awful.

The other night I had a dream I went to get my eye brows waxed the day before my wedding. She waxed them both entirely off. Totally random and very weird.

Last night I had a dream that we didn't give our DJ a song list so he just didn't play anything. I kept saying "just play something!!!" and he was like, "I'm sorry I just don't know what to do here" Argh....they are so frustrating.

I believe these dreams are normal. Most dreams come because of of a compressed feeling. Normally it just shows that you are worried that all your hard work putting your wedding will be diasterous. I have them sometimes, but I don't worry about them though

Yep, had one the other day. I drempt that I got pregnant, but hid the pregnancy until the day of the wedding! My mom bought me my dress as my gift, and when my mom went to dress me on my wedding day, she saw that I was pregnant and was very upset with me because the dress wouldn't fit anymore. My dream went on with me walking down the isle 8 months pregnant with my dress only done up part way....yikes! I had to check my tummy after I woke up as it seemed so real!

I've been having wedding nightmares for months! It got so bad a couple of weeks ago that I barely got any sleep for 5 nights (either laying awake stressing or having nightmares); finally I broke down and picked up some Advil PM for when I'm feeling particularly stressed. Still have the nightmares but I can't remember them in the morning so its all good!

Thanks for the laughs ladies! I have only had 2 one was just last night and I dreamt I did not have enough favors for the guests and I over reacting about it like it was the end of the world and the other was a few months ago and I was wearing this horrible white dress with black polka dots and it was time for me to walk down the aisle and my bridesmaids would not let me change they just kept telling me to just wear the one I had on. It was so frustrating

I agree it has to be the stress..Bc i had a dream about the wedding ceremony a couple of months ago i kept telling me FH to get fitted for his tux he did't go when i asked him to and that night i had a dream he was standing at the alter with a polo and some jeans...lol i was like "what are you wearing" he said nobody is going to notice" LOL i was freaking out!!!

Thanks girls reading about all of these dreams are funny and it makes me feel much better. I really thought i was the only one, glad to see i am not crazy.

Always, its about the stress, focus on the positive things!

I had one EVERY night for a few weeks. But once I got a lot more "wedding" stuff done, they went away! =]

Omg just a FEW nights ago i dreamed it was my wedding day and when i got to the church the pastor was marrying someon elese and he said i had to wait my turn and i had to use her colors mint green and i was frantic because i had forgotten my bouquet and had to go back home and the pastor said if im late i would lose my spot! lol i dont know what that was all about lol i woke up i never got married in my dream

I get them too, i think it's normal. the dreams defiantly stress me out but i know it's only b/c i want to day to go perfectly.

I had one where on the day of the wedding we were still looking at a church and people started showing up. I couldn't find my dress and my and my fiance were running around in a place that looked like a border town in mexico, looking for a photographer. We found this lady who had a store in her house, she was our photographer. lol Oh and I was reprimanding the kids inside the church and all of a sudden the church was over and everyone left.

I can see why I had this silly dream, we haden't booked the church or photographers and we are having a kid free wedding. lol

I had a dream that we forgot it was our wedding and for some reason all the guests started showing up at my house and i was still in my pjs and we got married im our pjs and then my hubby went to work. the whole thing was so crazy!!!

I had one to where my hair person never showed up so i had to go to some local salon and by the time she was done, by hair looked like a nest and then my shoes didn't fit so i had to walk down barefoot with socks, then i had no flowers so i grabbed some of a bush of some kind, then for some odd reason my ceremony was on a stage and cause i had on dress socks i slipped and fall off the stage, but i caught myself and had to climb back up, and my ceremony was not how i designed it at all. i woke up and scared FH and he was like what's wrong and i told him the dream he was like wow, do you need some nyquil? lol the worst

I had one the other night: Basically it was my wedding day and my hands and my toes weren't done! I had open toe shoes I was freaking out! Also my hair was messed up. I had for some reason permed it 2x the same day and it started falling out. I don't like those dreams!
