So my wedding is not until Halloween of next year(2020). I already have my venu and food so now just looking for a cheap affordable but still good music and photography. Any suggestions? i see all the vendors here but almost 98% of them are close to $500. I really dont want to spend that much.

$500 is a great deal for a DJ! We are spending $700 and we received a discount.

I don’t know if you’ll find anything under $500 unless it’s an amateur or someone just starting out trying to build their business. I’ve heard thumbtack is a good place to find cheaper vendors.

Ask around in your local FB groups for suggestions. People always love to throw out names around here so it gave me a starting point. I've found the vendors on WW are a little more pricey than the ones I've found on my own. I wouldn't skimp too much on photography because that's where your memories will be - in the photos. A DJ - eh, as long as you give them a list of things to play and they have wedding experience.. if you want to save money there, so be it. Our DJ is normally about $700, but we're getting the friends/family discount because my FH works with him. $500 isn't unreasonable.

    Hi there Megan Smiley smile

Well done on sorting your venue and food, you’re flying through wedding planning!

The WeddingWire cost guide is a great tool to gauge how much different wedding vendors in your area charge. The below does not mean this is what you have to spend, it’s simply a guide based on previous couple data!

According to the tool, most couples spend between $700 - $1,300 on a wedding DJ in Orlando, with the average cost being $1000. With wedding photographer in Orlando, the average cost is $1,700. I understand the sticker-shock! Here are some articles that help to break down those costs even further -

Why a Wedding DJ Costs THAT Much

Is there any wiggle room in your budget? Have you looked through the Orlando wedding vendors listed in the WeddingWire directory and gotten some pricing estimates already?

    I booked Florida Wedding DJs.
We paid $350 and they were amazing. Not sure where you are located but worth a look. Our planner found them and we are so happy she did! We had a blast at a great price. (We had our wedding on a Friday - that may have something to do with the price)
