2021 wedding!

I’m getting married in March of 2021, I know it’s too early to tell but how are you guys feeling? Do you think if your wedding is also around that time you’re going to have to postpone? My heart goes out to everyone who has had to cancel or postpone their big day!

Congrats to you! It's unfortunately just too hard to tell and this is a month by month situation. I sure hope you can get married in 2021! That would be mean my reception still would not have happened! Happy planning to you!

    Hi and welcome!

It's so hard to see what March is going to look like - and it may all depend on what state you live in.

Best advice we have to everyone: Have a Plan B, be flexible, and don't make decisions until you *have* to.

    Good luck!

I’m March 2021 too, and honestly I’m just super anxious about planning. I want to plan to feel productive and I’m excited to do it, but then I don’t want to plan in case plans have to change. It’s rough but our venue was really reassuring, so that’s helping a lot with stress.
If you already have vendors, talk to them about it,

We are May 2021 and just thinking of cancelling the whole thing due to the uncertainty.

We are June 4, 2021. I've been floating around forums about 2021 here and there to get a feel of what people are saying. We only have venue (deposit), and vendors (DJ, Harpist, Makeup/Hair, and Photographer/Videographer). We are also coming to a point where we may just backtrack and cancel and just wait it out, or start planning a backyard micro wedding/minimony, which has grown on me after seeing many 2020 couples do it. We aren't making any hasty decisions, but I can say we are also considering cancelling the whole large gathering to avoid spending $20,000+ on people to just not show up, or restrictions to go back into place. I just struggle to see how things will be 100% back to normal in 10 months. Our venue is also indoors.
