The national average is somewhere in the $30k range for a party that lasts maybe 4 hours at most and everything is charged 10x the price because it's for a wedding rather than a family gathering. And don't forget white only. What are you doing...

As a guest, would you be utterly lost and confused if there were no announcements made by the dj? Guests can usually figure out who the bride and groom are, when things are happening (dinner being served, dancing starting based on music played, etc)...
